Boston Celtics @ Indiana Pacers – 7:30PM ET

It has been a fantastic start to the season for the Boston Celtics, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with a victory here on Monday night on the road against the Indiana Pacers. Boston has been a legitimate contender over the past several seasons, but they have been unable to accomplish their ultimate goal of bringing home an NBA championship. If the early part of this season is any indication of how the year will go if they continue to remain healthy and consistent, then they will likely be the favorites heading into the postseason. Boston comes into this game with 15 victories through their first 19 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 16th win of the year here on Monday night on the road in Indiana. They have plenty of momentum coming into this game as they have picked up three victories in a row and they have picked up four victories in their last five games as well. They will be looking for a fourth consecutive win here in this one against the Pacers. 

The Indiana Pacers are putting up a decent start to the season and it’s thanks in part to the play of their point guard Tyrese Haliburton. He has been one of the best point guards in the league over the last several years, but he has truly established himself as the best point guard of the league throughout the early part of this regular season. He will be looking to help lead Indiana to an early season statement victory at home against the Boston Celtics here on Monday night. Indiana comes into this game two games above .500 through their first 18 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 11th victory of the year here in this one against the Celtics. Indiana will be looking to avenge their blowout loss to the Boston Celtics on the road in Boston earlier this season here in this game at home on Monday night. Unfortunately for the Pacers, I don’t see that happening as I look for them to keep this game closer but in the end I still look for Boston to bring home the win. 

New Orleans Pelicans @ Sacramento Kings – 10PM ET

New Orleans is one of those teams that has the potential to be the best team in the league as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season. However, that is something they have struggled with, as their three superstars have already taken turns missing time throughout the early part of the year. They come into this game to get a huge momentum boosting victory here on Monday night on the road out in California, as they look to get the ball rolling in the right direction heading into the month of December. New Orleans comes into this game hovering around the .500 mark through their first 21 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the year here on Monday. The Pelicans will need to get healthy and start to get some consistency together throughout the rest of the calendar year and by the time February comes around they could be legitimate NBA championship contenders if the chips fall correctly. 

The Sacramento Kings were solid last season, and they made a playoff appearance for the first time in over 20 years and they will be looking to replicate those results this season as well. it has been a respectable start to the regular season of the Sacramento Kings and they have been very tough to beat at home over the last year and a half and they will be looking to maintain that narrative with another quality performance here on Monday night. They will be looking for a solid victory on their home floor against New Orleans, as Sacramento looks to get themselves an early season statement victory over another potential playoff team in the Western Conference. Sacramento comes into this game as winners of 11 out of their first 18 games of the season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the year here in this one. They will also be looking to bounce back after having their two game-winning streak snapped in their previous game against the Chicago Bulls. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Sacramento to grab the win here in this one.
