Everybody thought Philadelphia would be worse without James Harden in the lineup. However they’ve been a lot better without James Harden in the lineup this season. They will be looking to keep that narrative true with another quality performance against one of the top teams in the league as they face off with the Boston Celtics for the third time this season. Philadelphia comes into this game, looking to pick up a win on the road at TD Garden against the Boston Celtics as they look to further establish themselves as a legitimate NBA title contender this season. Philadelphia comes into this game with 12 victories through their first 18 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 13th one of the year here on Friday night in Boston.

The Boston Celtics are experiencing a solid start to the regular season as well and they will be looking to pick up a victory in this game on Friday night at home to keep the momentum rolling. Boston comes into this game with 14 victories, their first 18 games of the season as they have been one of the best teams in the league throughout the early part of the year. They’ve been championship contenders over the last four years and they will be looking to finally reach their ultimate goal of winning an NBA championship this season, and as long as they remain healthy and consistent, they should have a legitimate shot to reach the top of the mountain. They have already picked up one victory over Philadelphia this season, and they come into this game with a little bit of momentum as they find themselves on a two game winning streak. I look for them to pick up their third consecutive victory here on Friday night at home over the 76ers.

New York Knicks @ Toronto Raptors – 7:30pm ET

It has been an up-and-down start to the regular season for the New York Knicks, and they will be looking to go north of the border to Canada and pick up a victory here on Friday night over the Toronto Raptors. The New York Knicks come into this game four games above the 500 mark through their first 18 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the year here on Friday night against the Raptors. Jalen Brunson will be looking to lead the wave for the New York Knicks throughout this game, and last time he faced off with the Toronto Raptors he put up 42 points and led the New York Knicks to a huge victory. He will be looking to replicate those numbers here in this one as New York looks to get their 12 of the season and climb further up the standings heading into the month of December. The New York Knicks come into this game with a little bit of momentum after picking up a victory over Charlotte in their previous contest. 

The Toronto Raptors are having an average start to the regular season and they will be looking to get things rolling in the right direction where they quality performance are on Friday at home against New York. It’s been a relatively slow start to the season for the Toronto Raptors and they come into this game one game below .500 through their first 19 games of the regular season. They will be looking for their 10th victory of the season with a quality performance here on Friday night at home against the New York Knicks as they look to get some momentum rolling in the right direction and pick up a huge victory over one of the playoff teams in the Eastern Conference. I have a little bit of momentum coming into this one after beating Phoenix and their previous game but unfortunately for Toronto, I don’t see them picking up the win in this one.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Dallas Mavericks – 7:30pm ET

Memphis is having a hard time without Ja Morant in the lineup throughout the early part of the regular season, and they will be looking to get things back on track with a victory here on Friday night against Dallas. Last time Ja Morant was suspended for a decent amount of time or missed time due to injury, Memphis was solid without him, but it has been the exact opposite throughout the early part of this regular season. They have had a few bright spots throughout the early part of the season, as a couple of players have stepped up and turned into true leaders for this Memphis team. They will be hoping to sustain that success once he returns from his nearly year-long suspension later this year. They come into this game as losers of 13 out of their first 17 games on the season and they will be looking for their fifth victory of the year here on Friday night against the Mavericks.

It has been a solid start to the regular season for the Dallas Mavericks and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Friday night at home against Memphis. Dallas comes into this game with 11 victories through their first 17 games of the season and they will be looking for their 12th one of the year against a shorthanded Grizzlies team here in this one. It has been the play of Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving that has led Dallas to this point, and they will be looking to remain healthy and consistent throughout the early part of the regular season, as they look to further establish themselves as a title contender. They come into this game as winners of two out of their last three games on the season and they are coming off of a victory over Houston and I look for them to grab a second consecutive victory here on Friday night at home against Memphis as well.

San Antonio Spurs @ New Orleans Pelicans – 8pm ET

It has been a rough start of the season for the San Antonio Spurs, but they have shown some progress in their rebuilding process throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to go on the road to New Orleans and pick up a solid victory here on Friday night as they look to get some momentum, rolling in the right direction heading into the month of December. San Antonio comes into this game looking for their fourth victory of the season as they look to crawl back towards .500. They come into this song with 15 losses through their first 18 games of the year and unless something changes rather quickly, they will likely be one of the worst teams in the Western Conference this season. It has been like this for San Antonio since the end of the Tim Duncan era, and sometimes it doesn’t seem like there is an end in sight for the Spurs as they look to get back to their championship ways. They will also be looking to snap a lengthy losing streak in this game on Friday night against New Orleans.

It has been a roller coaster of a start to the season for New Orleans as they have dealt with injuries to their key players that has led to them dropping some very reasonable games throughout the early part of the season. They come into this game hovering around .500 through their first 19 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 11th victory of the year here on Friday night at home against San Antonio. They should have all their superstars on the court for this one which is a good sign for New Orleans as several of them have missed time throughout the early part of the year due to several different issues. If this Pelicans team can remain healthy and consistent, they could be a legitimate contender in the Western Conference this season. This will be the first meeting of four between these two teams this season here on Friday night, and I expect New Orleans to come away with the victory in comfortable fashion.

Denver Nuggets @ Phoenix Suns – 10pm ET

The defending NBA champions are having a quality start to the regular season, and they have not experienced any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling when they head to the desert to play the Phoenix Suns here on Friday night on the road. This will be an early season test for the Denver Nuggets, and they will be looking to pass it with flying colors here in this one, as they look to further establish themselves as the favorites to win their second consecutive NBA championship this season. Denver comes into this game as winners of 13 out of their first 19 of the regular season and they will be looking for their 14th victory of the year here on Friday night on the road against the Phoenix Suns. They come into this game on Friday night with plenty of momentum after picking up three consecutive victories, and they will be looking for their fourth consecutive win here on Friday against Phoenix.

The Phoenix Suns are off to a quality start this season as well and once this team gets healthy and starts to get some consistency about them they are going to be one of the most dangerous teams in the league. They currently have a winning streak. They will be looking to extend a victory in this game on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets as they look to take down the offending NBA champions, and grab a statement victory early on in the season. Phoenix comes into this game with 11 victories through their first 18 games of the season, which puts them in fifth place of the Western Conference at the moment. However, they will be looking to bounce back from their loss to the Toronto Raptors in their previous game and get right back into the win column here on Friday night at home. I expect this to be a close and competitive game as it will likely be the best game of the slate here on Friday night, but in the end I do look for Phoenix to pick up the victory at home.
