The Miami Heat shocked everyone with their journey throughout this season’s playoffs. Now they are on the doorstep of making the NBA Finals for the second time in the last five seasons. Jimmy Butler has arguably been the best player in the league during the postseason and it’s reminiscent of his performance in the bubble during the COVID-19 pandemic season. Now Miami will face the toughest task to date and then he’s heading to Boston for game one of this Eastern Conference Finals series on Wednesday evening. The supporting cast we need to continue to play as well as they have throughout the first two rounds if the Heat want to grab the win here in Boston on Wednesday.

The Boston Celtics come into this game after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers in blowout fashion in game number seven of their second round series. It may have been a death blow for the 76ers because they fired head coach Doc Rivers, not long after their loss. All signs also point to Philadelphia breaking up their tandem of James Harden and Joel Embiid as well. Now Boston will look to come out in this game with a much shorter rest than Miami had and get the victory over the Heat here in game number one at home. However, that is exactly what I expect as I have the Boston Celtics grabbing the victory in this game on Wednesday evening.
