James and Anthony Davis, averaging 27.3 and 24.7 points per game, respectively, have led the Lakers in scoring so far this season. James also is contributing 11.0 rebounds, seventh-most in the league, and 7.3 assists per game.
Nikola Jokic (20.3 ppg), Michael Porter Jr. (18.0), and Gordon (17.3) have been the primary providers for the Nuggets on offense. Jokic has also posted 9.5 assists, fifth-most in the league, and 10.3 rebounds per game. The Nuggets have had the advantage in recent meetings between the teams at Ball Arena, winning seven of the last 10.
