Charlotte won their fifth in a row on Monday at Spectrum Center, beating the Detroit Pistons 117-106. Terry Rozier had 22 points to lead the team in scoring. With 15 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, Mark Williams also played a part. The Hornets are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference.
The teams are meeting for the final time this season. Phoenix will be looking for a season sweep against Charlotte after taking the only prior matchup 128-97 at Footprint Center on January 24, their fourth straight head-to-head victory.
