The Celtics are third in the Eastern Conference, 1.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks.
It’s the final meeting of the season between the teams. Chicago will be aiming for a season sweep against Boston after taking the only earlier meeting 120-102 at United Center on October 24. DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 25 points. Tatum had 26 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort.The Bulls have been led this season by DeRozan and Zach LaVine, who are averaging 23.3 and 21.5 points per game, respectively.
DeRozan also has dished 4.2 assists per game. Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic is grabbing 12.3 rebounds per game. Tatum and Brown have powered the Celts’ offense, averaging 30.1 and 26.0 points per game, respectively. Tatum ranks eighth in the NBA. Tatum also has averaged 8.0 rebounds per game. Marcus Smart has tallied 6.0 assists per game. The Celtics and the Bulls are averaging 116.1 and 111.4 points per game, respectively, two of the highest-scoring teams in the NBA. The Celtics have had the advantage in the last 10 games between the teams at TD Garden, winning six.
