Hot-hitting Bo Bichette will be looking to extend his 12-game hitting streak as the Toronto Blue Jays (43-37) host the San Francisco Giants (45-34) at Rogers Centre on Wednesday.
The Giants took Tuesday’s series opener 3-0. Alex Wood threw five scoreless innings out of the bullpen to get the win, and Camilo Doval pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to pick up his 23rd save.
J.D. Davis was 2 for 3 with one run in the win. Bichette’s hitting streak is up to 12 games as he went 3 for 4 with a double for the Blue Jays.
