Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be looking to extend his 20-game on-base streak as the Toronto Blue Jays (24-17) host the New York Yankees (24-19) at Rogers Centre on Tuesday.
The Yankees took Monday’s series opener 7-4, their second head-to-head victory in four games this season. Jhony Brito got the win with 5.1 innings of relief, and Michael King threw 1.1 scoreless innings to pick up his third save.
Aaron Judge was 2 for 2 with two home runs and three RBIs, walking three times, in the win. Bo Bichette went 2 for 4 with one RBI for the Blue Jays.

Domingo German (2-3, 4.00 ERA) is slated to start for New York. The right-hander allowed two runs (one earned) over 5.2 innings in his last start, an 8-2 road defeat against the Rays on Thursday. He took the loss, yielding three hits while striking out three and walking three.

RHP Kevin Gausman (2-3, 3.38 ERA) is on the mound for Toronto. He has made one prior start against the Yankees this season, holding opposing hitters scoreless over seven innings in a 5-1 road win on April 23.
He gave up three hits while striking out 11 in the win. In his last start on Wednesday, Gausman took a no-decision on the road against the Phillies. He threw six scoreless innings and gave up three hits, striking out nine, in the 2-1 defeat. The right-hander leads the AL in strikeouts (67).
