The Rangers are playing the first of six games at home after concluding a successful nine-game road trip (6-3). They won two of three against the Tigers in their last series, dropping the finale 3-2 on Wednesday at Comerica Park. Josh Jung’s hitting streak is up to 14 as he went 2 for 4 with a double and one run.


The Rangers have won two of three in the season series between the AL West rivals, including a 4-3 victory in their most recent meeting on May 10 at T-Mobile Park.
