A pair of hot hitters are set to face off when the Atlanta Braves (26-15) take on the Texas Rangers (25-16) at Globe Life Field on Tuesday, as Jonah Heim and his 13-game hitting streak host Eddie Rosario and his 10-game streak.
The Braves took Monday’s series opener 12-0. Starter Charlie Morton threw 6.2 scoreless innings – striking out 10 – for the win. Orlando Arcia was 2 for 2 with a home run and a double in the win.
He scored three runs and had two RBIs. Marcus Semien’s on-base streak reached 14 games as he went 3 for 5 for the Rangers. Brad Miller went 1 for 1.

RHP Nathan Eovaldi (5-2, 2.70 ERA) is on the mound for Texas. It’s his first appearance of the season against the Braves. Eovaldi made one start against the Braves in 2022, throwing 6.1 innings for the Red Sox in a 5-3 road defeat on May 11.
He gave up six hits and walked one, while striking out six in the no-decision.In his last start on Thursday, Eovaldi got the win on the road against the Athletics. He threw 8.2 scoreless innings and gave up three hits, striking out 12 and walking one in the 4-0 victory. The righty is tied for third in the AL in wins.
