The Baltimore Orioles (35-21) are on the road to face the San Francisco Giants (28-28) at Oracle Park on Friday for the opener of a three-game Interleague series.
The Orioles are kicking off a six-game road trip after closing out a difficult six-game homestand (2-4). They won only one out of three in their last series against the Guardians, dropping the finale 12-8 on Wednesday at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Adley Rutschman was 4 for 5 with one run and one RBI. Ryan O’Hearn added two doubles, one run, and two RBIs. The Giants are in the midst of a six-game homestand. They lost two of three against the Pirates in their last series, dropping the finale 9-4 on Wednesday at Oracle Park.
Mike Yastrzemski went 1 for 3 with a triple and one run. The teams are meeting for the first time since June 2, 2019, when the Giants finished off a 2-1 series win with an 8-1 victory at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Dean Kremer (5-2, 4.61 ERA) is in line for the start for Baltimore. The righty allowed three runs over 6.1 innings in his last start, a 5-3 road defeat against the Rangers on Saturday. He took the loss, giving up five hits while striking out five and walking two.
For San Francisco, righty Logan Webb (4-5, 2.91 ERA) gets the start. In his last start on Saturday, Webb got the win on the road against the Brewers.
