Wade Miley, one of this season’s toughest pitchers, leads the way for the Milwaukee Brewers (20-16) as they match up against the Los Angeles Dodgers (22-15) at American Family Field on Wednesday with the three-game series even at 1-1.
The Dodgers evened up the series 1-1 after winning 6-2 on Tuesday. Reliever Justin Bruihl threw 1.2 scoreless innings to get the win, and Evan Phillips threw 0.1 scoreless innings to earn his sixth save.
Will Smith was 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs in the win, stretching his on-base streak to 11 games. Victor Caratini went 1 for 3 with a solo home run for the Brewers.

Clayton Kershaw (5-2, 2.53 ERA) is set for the start for Los Angeles. The left-hander is tied for the NL lead in wins and is tied for fifth in strikeouts (48). Kershaw allowed four runs over 4.2 innings in his last start, a 5-2 road defeat against the Padres on Friday.
