San Francisco Giants @ Philadelphia Phillies – 6:45PM ET

The San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies will be playing game number two of their three game weekday series in this one. In game number one it was the Giants who got the victory and now they will be looking to clinch the series victory in game number two.

Tony Battalio

The San Francisco Giants will be looking to grab a series win here in game number two of this series on Tuesday. Their game on Monday was an extra innings thriller, but it also may have shown some issues within the Giants bullpen and their ability to finish games as well. Despite the pending issues, the Giants still got the victory and now they will come into this game with a record of 26-21 through their first 47 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

The Philadelphia Phillies will be looking to bounce back after their loss in game one of this three game weekday series. They are having a rough start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season as they come into this game with a record of 21-28 through their first 49 games of the year. They are in a slump at the moment as they have lost their last four games in a row entering Tuesday’s matchup. They are in desperate need of a victory in this one but I don’t see it happening as I’m going with the Giants to get the win in this one.

Tony’s MLB Pick: San Francisco Giants (+116)

Jeffery Thomas

The series opener between the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies was an exciting one that went down to the wire in extra innings. Evan Longoria hit a home run in the top of the 9th to give the Giants a 3-2 lead but Kyle Schwarber answered in the bottom of the inning to tie it up and send the game to extras.

That’s when Curt Casili of San Francisco gave them another home run to take a 5-3 lead give them the lead for good. It’s the second win in a row for the Giants who find themselves at third place in the NL West. This is a series between two teams who have yet to live up to expectations this season and serves as good chance for the Giants to stack up a few wins. The Phillies have now lost six of seven games and are just one of the coldest teams in of baseball. There’s no reason to trust them right now, especially with Ranger Suarez taking the mound on Tuesday. The reliever-turned-starter still hasn’t been able to adjust to increased innings and should get roughed up by this Giants offense.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: San Francisco Giants (+116)

Marko Nadin

The Philadelphia Phillies are third in the NL East with a 21-28 record. They have lost 6 of the last 7 games including the last two in an extra inning. The Phillies are 11th in the league scoring 4.57 runs per game and are 20th in the league allowing 4.51 runs per game. They will start Ranger Suarez tonight who is 4-3 for the season with a 4.74 ERA. Philadelphia has lost 8 of the last 10 games against a right-handed starter and 5 of the last 7 games against teams with a winning record.

The San Francisco Giants are third in the NL West with a 26-21 record. They have won 4 of the last 6 games including a 5-4 win last night against the Phillies. The Giants are the third-best offensive team in the league scoring 5.11 runs per game and are ranked 25th in the league allowing 4.70 runs per game. They will start Jakob junis tonight who is 2-1 for the season with a 2.76 ERA. San Francisco has won 40 of the last 55 games against teams with a losing record.

Marko’s MLB Pick: San Francisco Giants (+116)

Seattle Mariners @ Baltimore Orioles – 7:05PM ET

The Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Orioles will be playing game number one of their three game weekday series in this one. The Orioles are coming off of a series with the Red Sox while the Mariners will be coming off of a series with the Houston Astros.

Tony Battalio

The Seattle Mariners are looking to ride the momentum from their series win over the Houston Astros over the weekend. They will have a great opportunity to do so as they are entering a three game series with the Baltimore Orioles this week. The Mariners are such a young team with so much potential and their inexperience has shown at times this season. As they come into this game with a record of 20-28 through their first 48 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

The Baltimore Orioles aren’t having a great season at the moment either. As they come into this game with a record of 21-29 through their first 50 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are already 13 games out of first place in the American League East division. They have been stuck in a constant cycle of rebuilding for the last several years and it is likely going to continue for another year or two as well. As for the result of game one of this series I am going with the Seattle Mariners to get the win.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Seattle Mariners

Jeffery Thomas

The Seattle Mariners were off for Memorial Day but are getting back at it on Tuesday on the road in Baltimore. It was a successful weekend for Seattle who took two of three from the Houston Astros at home, outscoring them 13-3. It was surprising how one-sided that series ended up being as the Mariners are just 20-28 on the year while the Astros are the first place team in the division.

The Mariners will have a distinct advantage in this series opener despite being the road team. They’ll have had a day off and can use that scheduling spot to get in one of their better pitchers in this game. With Baltimore having multiple starters on the injured list it’s going to be a mix of bullpen arms and it just sets up to be a disastrous day on the mound for them. Give me the Seattle Mariners in this one.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Seattle Mariners

Marko Nadin

The Baltimore Orioles are at the bottom of the AL East with a 21-29 record. They are coming off a 3-2 series road win against the Boston Red Sox. The Orioles are 26th in the league scoring 3.86 runs per game and are ranked 21st in the league allowing 4.53 runs per game. Baltimore will start Keegan Akin tonight who is 1-1 for the season with a 1.71 ERA. The Orioles have won 10 of the last 19 home games and 6 of the last 11 games against the Seattle mariners.

The Seattle Mariners are fourth in the AL West with a 20-28 record. They have lost 7 of the last 10 games and are coming off a 2-1 series win against the Houston Astros. The Mariners are 22nd in the league scoring 4.10 runs per game and 19th in the league allowing 4.10 runs per game. Seattle will start George Kirby tonight who is 0-1 for the season with a 4.50 ERA. Seattle has lost 6 of the last 7 road games and 8 of the last 10 games against AL East opponents.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Baltimore Orioles

Los Angeles Angels @ New York Yankees – 7:05PM ET

The Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees will be playing game one of their three game weekday series in this one. The Angels are fresh off of a series with the Toronto Blue Jays, while the Yankees just got done playing the Tampa Bay Rays.

Tony Battalio

The Los Angeles Angels are having a decent start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season as they come into this series with the New York Yankees with a record of 27-22 through their first 49 games of the year. They currently find themselves in second place of the American League West division as they trail the Houston Astros by a couple games heading into the month of June. However, they are currently slumping as they have lost their last five games in a row and they will be desperate for a win to snap the losing streak in this game.

The New York Yankees have been one of the best teams in Major League Baseball so far this season. They come into this game with one of the top records in the league and currently sit at the top of the American League with a record of 33-15 through their first 48 games of the 2022 season. The Yankees are currently on a two game losing streak as they will also be looking to bounce back in this one, and that is exactly what I expect them to do as I have New York getting the win in this one.

Tony’s MLB Pick: New York Yankees (-138)

Jeffery Thomas

This series will be a lot of fun as the Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees meet up in Yankee Stadium for three games. These are the two teams tied for the lead in the American League in homeruns (67) so we should expect a lot of fireworks. The Angels are coming in on a five-game losing streak though, in large part thanks to their leaky bullpen which gave up 10 runs in 13 innings of work in their three-game series against the Blue Jays (all losses of course).

The Yankees are feeling good and will look to capitalize on this upcoming stretch of games where they will be at home for 12 of the next 15. New York is 17-7 on the year at home and now get a struggling team with a shaky bullpen. That sounds like the recipe to victory for the home team that should be able to get out to an earli lead before turning the final few innings over to their significantly better bullpen and closing unit.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: New York Yankees (-138)

Marko Nadin

The New York Yankees are on top of the AL East with a 33-15 record. They have won 4 of the last 6 games but are coming off two consecutive losses to the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees are 10th in the league scoring 4.60 runs per game and are ranked second in the league allowing 3.12 runs per game. The Yankees will start Jordan Montgomery tonight who is 0-1 for the season with a 3.30 ERA. They have won 6 of the last 7 games against AL West opponents and 10 of the last 13 games against teams with a winning record.

The Los Angeles Angels are second in the AL West with a 27-22 record. They have lost the last 5 games including a 0-4 series sweep to the Toronto Blue Jays. The Angels are fifth in the league scoring 4.85 runs per game and are ranked 10th allowing 3.99 runs per game. Noah Syndergaard will be the Angels’ starter tonight who is 4-2 for the season with a 3.08 ERA. The Angels have won 9 of the last 10 games against left-handed starter and have lost 7 of the last 9 games after a day off.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Los Angeles Angels (+118)

Chicago White Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays – 7:07PM ET

The Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays will be playing the first game of their three game weekday series in this one. The White Sox are coming off of a series with the Chicago Cubs while the Blue Jays just finished a series with the Los Angeles Angels.

Tony Battalio

The Chicago White Sox aren’t having the type of the season they were expected to have. As they have severely underperformed up until this point of the year and their once seemingly guaranteed American League Central divisional title is quickly not so easy to win. The White Sox come into this game with a record of 23-23 through their first 46 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are currently in second place of the American League Central division at the moment as they trail the Minnesota Twins.

The Toronto Blue Jays are on fire at the moment, as they come into the game with a record of 27-20 through their first 47 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are 7-3 in their last ten games of the season and they are currently on a five game winning streak at the moment. They are in third place of the American League East division as they are 5.5 games behind the New York Yankees for first place. As for the result of this game I am going with the Toronto Blue Jays to get the win.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays (-190)

Jeffery Thomas

The Chicago White Sox will start up their six-game road trip on Tuesday that will not include shortstop Tim Anderson due to a groin injury. Anderson suffered the injury on Sunday in the win over the Cubs trying to make a throw from the outfield. That’s a huge blow to the Sox, as they’ll now be without their leadoff man and team leader against a Toronto team that is heating up at the moment.

The Jays are 5-1 in their last six including a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels over the weekend. They are heavily favored to keep the winning streak going and rightfully so given how mediocre Chicago has been this season. I like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the boys to get this win on Tuesday and keep their hot streak going.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays (-190)

Marko Nadin

The Toronto Blue Jays are third in the AL East with a 27-20 record. They have won the last 5 games including a 4-0 series sweep against the Los Angeles Angels. The Blue Jays are 23rd in the league scoring 4.01 runs per game and 13th in the league allowing 4.03 runs per game. Toronto will start Kevin Gausman tonight who is 4-3 for the season with a 2.25 ERA. The Blue Jays have won the last 4 games after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game and 4 of the last 5 games as favorites.

The Chicago White Sox are second in the AL Central with a 23-23 record. They have lost 3 of the last 5 games and are coming off a 5-4 12th inning win over the Chicago Cubs. The White Sox are 27th in the league scoring 3.63 runs per game and are ranked 24th in the league allowing 4.61 runs per game. The White Sox will start Lucas Giolito tonight who is 3-1 for the season with a 263 ERA. They have won 10 of the last 13 road games and have lost 21 of the last 30 road games against teams with a winning record.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Toronto Blue Jays (-190)

Cincinnati Reds @ Boston Red Sox – 7:10PM ET

The Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox will be playing game one of their two game weekday series in this one. The Reds are coming off of a series with the San Francisco Giants and the Red Sox are coming off of a series with the Baltimore Orioles.

Tony Battalio

The Cincinnati Reds had an incredibly rough start to the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They come into this game with a record of 16-31 through their first 47 games of the year. They are in last place of the National League Central division and will likely remain there for the entire year. They are currently on a one game losing streak at the moment. Despite the loss in the finale they did get a huge series win over the San Francisco Giants over the weekend to cap off a successful road trip with a record of 4-3 in seven games.

The Boston Red Sox come into this short two game weekday series with a record of 23-26 through their first 49 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. It’s been a rough start to the year for one of the most storied franchises in baseball and they will be looking to use this two game series against the Reds to get closer to the .500 mark moving into the summer months. As for the result of this game that is exactly what I expect as I have the Boston Red Sox getting the win in this one.

Tony’s MLB Pick: Boston Red Sox (-154)

Jeffery Thomas

The Cincinnati Reds come into this series with the Boston Red Sox winners of four of their last five games and have completely put the horrific start to the season behind them. They are still tied with the Kansas City Royals for the worst record but at the pace they’re going they will not be anywhere near that coke the end of the year.

The Boston Red Sox will be using the Reds to get back on track after losing three of five to the last place Baltimore Orioles, including a 10-0 loss on Monday. I like their chances with Michael Wacha and his 3-0 record taking the mound against Luis Castillo who has been a straight OG with a 4.35 ERA. Boston had the much better team despite their recent stretch and I’m banking on their talent showing up in this get right spot.

Jeffery’s MLB Pick: Boston Red Sox (-154)

Marko Nadin

The Boston Red Sox are fourth in the AL East with a 23-26 record. They are coming off a 2-3 series loss against the Baltimore Orioles. The Red Sox are 6th in the league scoring 4.81 runs per game and are ranked 18th in the league allowing 4.46 runs per game. Boston will start Michael Wacha tonight who is 3-0 for the season with a 2.83 ERA. The Red Sox have won 5 of the last 6 opening games of a series and 6 of the last 8 games going in as favorites.

The Cincinnati Reds are at the bottom of the NL Central with a 16-31 record. They are coming off a 6-4 loss to the San Francisco Giants which put an end to their 4-game winning streak. The Reds are the worst defensive team in the league allowing 5.64 runs per game and are ranked 15th in the league scoring 4.42 runs per game. Louis Castillo will start for the Reds tonight who is 1-2 for the season with a 4.35 ERA. Cincinnati has won 5 of the last 7 opening games of a series.

Marko’s MLB Pick: Boston Red Sox (-154)
