And we’ve got five free moneyline picks for you!

Look below to find our free MLB Picks for the five best games on today’s schedule!

Chicago White Sox @ Pittsburgh Pirates – 7.05PM ET

The Chicago White Sox are on their way to Pittsburgh to kick off their short two game series against the Pirates.

Chicago will be looking to bounce back to form after losing the opening four games of this six game road trip against the Astros in Houston. The White Sox were outscored 8-27 in the four game sweep.

As for the Pirates, they recently brought an end to their 10 game losing streak in their series opener against the Indians on Friday. Pittsburgh then went onto win the series after defeating Cleveland in game two on Saturday, however they failed to complete a sweep at home after going down 1-2 in game three on Sunday.

Tyler Anderson will take the mound for Pittsburgh in Tuesday’s series opener for what will be his 14th start of the season. The southpaw has a 3-7 record, 4.89 ERA and 1.26 WHIP from 73.2 innings in 2021. Anderson was costly in his last start, allowing six runs on 10 hits in six innings against the Nationals.

Lucas Giolito will look to return the White Sox to the winners list on Tuesday when he makes his 15th start of the season. Giolito is 5-5 with a 3.86 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 103 strikeouts from 81.2 innings of action this season. The right hander has thrown 19 innings in his last three starts, allowing nine earned runs on 16 hits in that time.

Even though they are on the road, coming up against the Pirates in Pittsburgh may be exactly what the White Sox need to bounce back from their recent series loss to the Astros. Seeing as Lucas Giolito has a 2.77 ERA and 0.77 WHIP from his two career starts against Pittsburgh, we can’t see the Pirates 30th ranked offense getting on top of him on Tuesday. As well as that, Tyler Anderson is coming off a poor performance in his last start and we like the White Sox offense to bounce back against him in this series opener.

Kansas City Royals @ New York Yankees – 7.05PM ET

The New York Yankees will host the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night for what will be the first match of their three game series.

Tuesday will be the Yankees fourth of a six game stint at home, as they recently won two of their three games against the A’s in New York over the weekend. After dropping game one 3-5 on Friday, the Yankees won the final two matches to steal the series victory, outsourcing Oakland 9-6 in the two wins.

Similarly, the Royals will enter this set fresh off a 2-1 series victory at home, having recently defeated Boston twice in Kansas City. Both the Royals and Red Sox scored 13 runs a piece in the three game set. Kansas City are now 3-12 in their past 15 games.

Brady Singer will make his 15th start of the season for the Royals on Tuesday. Singer owns a 3-5 record, 4.76 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 71 strikeouts from 68 innings of action this year. Although he has thrown just 14.2 innings in his last three starts, Singer has allowed six earned runs in that time.

New York will counter with ace Gerrit Cole for his 15th start of the season. Cole has eight wins (third most in the league) from 11 quality starts (second most in the league) this season, and his 117 strikeouts are good for the fifth most in baseball. The right hander has given up two earned runs or fewer in all but two of his appearances this season.

The Yankees will enter this series opener having won five of their last six games this season and five of their last six games against the Royals, and we like them to continue that solid form with a win at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday. Especially when considering that Gerrit Cole will be taking the ball for New York and he will be coming up against an out of form Kansas City’s lineup, that will be without left fielder Andrew Benintendi.

Boston Red Sox @ Tampa Bay Rays – 7.10PM ET

The top two teams in the AL East will do battle on Tuesday when the second placed Tampa Bay Rays host the first placed Boston Red Sox for the first meeting of their three game series in Florida.

Both the Red Sox and the Rays will be looking to return to form in this series, as Boston recently dropped two of their three games against the Royals in Kansas City, while the Rays have lost each of their past six games, including most recently being swept by the Mariners in Seattle.

Tampa Bay owns a 19-14 record at home this year, while Boston owns a league best 23-12 record on the road.

Eduardo Rodgriguez will make his 14th start for the Red Sox this season. The southpaw has a 5-4 record, 6.21 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 78 strikeouts from 66.2 innings this year. Rodriguez has not factored in a win in his last seven starts, owning an 0-4 record and 8.55 ERA in that time.

Andrew Kittredge will take the mound for the Rays on Tuesday for what will be just his third start (26th appearance) this year. Kittredge has a 5-1 record, 1.34 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 30 strikeouts in 33.2 innings of action this season. The Rays are expected to start Kittredge before handing the ball to Ryan Yarbrough, who will essentially act as a starter.

Having averaged just 3.33 runs per game across their last six consecutive losses, the Rays offense has gone cold recently. Seeing as Boston’s lineup has scored the fourth most runs in the league so far in June and they own the best record in baseball on the road, we are going to take the Red Sox in this series opener. Although Rodgriguez has been costly this season, he will be facing a Rays lineup that will only feature one starting position player that is hitting above .300.

Atlanta Braves @ New York Mets – 7.10PM ET

Having concluded Monday’s double header, the Braves and Mets will continue their four game series with game three of this set in New York.

With Jacob deGrom at the mound for game one, New York won the series opener 4-2 in the first game of Monday’s double header. deGrom pitched five innings for just one hit with six strikeouts in the seven innings game.

However, the Braves tied things up at 1-1 with a 1-0 victory in game two on Monday. Ian Anderson pitched 5.1 scoreless innings for three hits in the shutout victory, while Ronald Acuna Jr.’s solo homer at the top of the fifth was the only run of the match.

Charlie Morton will make his 15th start for the Braves this season. Morton has a 6-3 record, 4.03 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 82 strikeouts from 73.2 innings this year. The right hander is coming off his strongest outing of the season, having thrown 7.2 shutout innings and for just three hits and zero walks with seven strikeouts against the Cardinals in a 4-0 win.

New York’s Marcus Stroman will look to give the Mets a lead in this series when he makes his 15th start of the season. Stroman has a 6-5 record, 2.35 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 75 strikeouts from 84.1 innings of work this year. The right hander has thrown 20 innings in his last three starts, allowing just three earned runs on 14 hits in that time.

As solid as Charlie Morton’s last start was, the Braves have lost four of the five road games that he has started this season and he has not held a candle to Marcus Stroman when looking at the two pitchers’ consistency. Seeing as he owns a perfect 4-0 record and 1.88 ERA in four career starts against the Braves, as well as a 2.02 ERA in six home starts this season, we like Stroman to lead the Mets to a win at home on Tuesday.

San Francisco Giants @ Los Angeles Angels – 9.38PM ET

The San Francisco Giants are headed to Los Angeles to kick off their short two game set against the Angels.

The Giants have been in solid form recently, winning six matches of their seven game stint at home, including a 2-1 series victory over the Phillies last weekend. San Francisco outscored Philadelphia 22-18 in the three game series.

As for the Angels, they recently kicked off their six game stretch of home games with three wins from their first four games against Detroit in Los Angeles. The Angels outscored the Tigers 29-16 in the four matches.

Andrew Heaney will take the mound for Los Angeles when he makes his 13th start of the season. Heaney has a 4-4 record, 4.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 75 strikeouts from 62.2 innings of action. Although he owns a 6.75 ERA from two starts against Giants, Heaney has held active San Francisco hitters to a .179 batting average.

San Francisco will counter with Anthony DeSclafani for what will be his 15th start of the season. DeSclafani is 7-2 this year to go along with a 3.01 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 71 strikeouts from 80.2 innings of action. Having posted a 3-0 record in his last three starts, DeSclafani owns a 1.35 ERA from 24 innings in that time.

Seeing as they are at underdog odds, we are going to take San Francisco on the road in this series opener. Anthony DeSclafani owns a 3-0 record and 1.35 ERA from his last three starts and we like him to continue that good form on Tuesday. Although Andrew Heaney has a serviceable record against active Giants hitters, San Francisco’s offense has scored 5+ in seven straight games while averaging 8.4 runs per game during that span.
