The National League is loaded with a ton of powerhitters and they have a very good shot at getting the victory here in the 2023 Major League Baseball All-Star game. Zac Gallen of the Arizona Diamondbacks is expected to get to start for the National League here on Tuesday night and he has been one of the best pitchers in the National League throughout the first half of the season as well. As of right now Gallen can be heavily considered as one of the favorites to bring home the National League Cy Young award. Although there is a squad of solid pitchers, the hitters her that much better, and I expect this game to be a close in competitive match up that ends with a high scoring contest.
The American League has a solid rotation of pitchers that could keep some of these National League bats at bay throughout the entirety of this all star game. The New York Yankees ace, Gerrit Cole is projected to take the mound for the American League as the starting pitcher for this game. He is having a fantastic first half of the season and he is one of the front runners to win the American League Cy Young award as well. The American league has Shohei Ohtani at their disposal, and there is a potential that he could pitch as well. I expect this game to be high scoring and for these two All-Star teams to go over their total runs here tonight at the Midsummer classic.
