Colorado Rockies @ St Louis Cardinals – 2.15PM ET
This Saturday clash will be the second of three games in this mini series. The first game was played on Friday where the Cardinals came out on top, winning 5-0. The Colorado Rockies are now 12-20 for the season so far, whereas the St Louis Cardinals are currently on a 19-14 record.
The Rockies have a little bit of a mixed bag so far this month, they have won three and lost three games. Their loss to the Cardinals on Friday put an end to a two game winning streak that they were trying to build on.

Their offense seems to be on fire as of late with an average of six runs scored per game in their last six games (this is including their last game where they didn’t score any runs). It is their defense that seems to be letting them down.
The Cardinals have won five of their last seven games, their win on Friday helped to snap a two game losing streak. Their previous series with the New York Mets ended in a tie, 2-2, after the Cardinals won the first two games. It is good to see the Cardinals back in the winners circle, and we think they can back up their win on Friday with another win on Saturday.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Oakland Athletics – 4.07PM ET
This Saturday clash will be the second of three games in this mini series. The first game was played on Friday where the Athletics came out on top, winning narrowly 2-1. The Tampa Bay Rays are now 18-16 for the season so far, whereas the Oakland Athletics are currently on a 20-14 record.
Tampa Bay are having a pretty good start to May, winning five of the first seven games played so far. Their loss to the Athletics on Friday night snapped a five game winning streak. Both losses so far this month have been by two runs or less, meaning when they do lose, they aren’t far off the mark.
Oakland have won four out of their first seven games, including their most recent win against the Rays on Friday night. It’s been a bit of a topsy turvy month so far for the Athletics, with some pretty big wins, but also some pretty sizable losses. They are on the right track again and we like them to come back again on Saturday afternoon and get another win in the books.

Milwaukee Brewers @ Miami Marlins – 6.10PM ET
This Saturday clash will be the second of three games in this mini series. The first game was played on Friday where the Marlins came out on top, winning 6-1. The Milwaukee Brewers are now 17-16 for the season so far, whereas the Miami Marlins are currently on a 15-16 record.
To say that the Brewers are not having a good start to May would be an understatement. They have lost six out of the first seven games to start off the month, and they are currently on a six game losing streak. Half of those losses however, were by one run only. It looks like the offense is where their problems lie, they are averaging only 3.91 runs per game.

The Miami Marlins are certainly having a better start to the month than that of their opponents. They have won four of their last six games, and they are currently on a four game winning streak. Majority of their last wins have also been quite dominant and they love to play at home. That’s why we like the look of the Marlins to take home the win again on Saturday night.

Boston Red Sox @ Baltimore Orioles – 7.05PM ET
This Saturday clash will be the second of four games in this mini series. The first game was played on Friday where the Boston Red Sox came out on top, winning 6-2. The Boston Red Sox are now 20-13 for the season so far, whereas the Baltimore Orioles are currently on a 15-17 record.
The depth of the Boston Red Sox is something to be admired, which is also one of the main reasons they have such a good record so far this season. They have started off this month a little bit shaky, with three wins and three losses, but a fairly dominant performance against the Orioles last time out should put them back on the winning track. Their last series against Detroit ended in a win, 2-1.
The Baltimore Orioles have, like many teams, an inconsistency problem. Not being able to string together two wins in a row, but also not suffering two losses in a row so far this month. On Saturday the Orioles will go up against the best offense in the league once again, and this could very well be a blow out score. With that being said, if you are putting money on this game, back the Boston Red Sox.

Seattle Mariners @ Texas Rangers – 7.05PM ET
This Saturday clash will be the second of three games in this mini series. The first game was played on Friday where the Mariners came out on top in a close win, 5-4. The Seattle Mariners are now 18-15 for the season so far, whereas the Texas Rangers are currently on a 16-18 record.
There is a lot of inconsistency at the Mariners camp, they haven’t been able to string together two wins in a row so far this month, but on the other hand, they haven’t had two losses in a row either. Seattle really needs to work on their offense, they have been struggling as of late and they are now last in the team batting average, sitting at just .201.

The Rangers are having a much better start to the month, only dropping two games, including the one on Friday. Their two losses this month so far have only been by one run. Many people expected the Rangers to keep up their form and win against the Mariners on Friday, but this wasn’t the case. We do like the Rangers to come out on Saturday looking for revenge though, so don’t count them out!
