This is a clash of two teams at different ends of the spectrum, with the Brewers at the top of their division and the Pirates at the bottom of the same division. They are the middle team of their Central Division in the American League, with the Twins and the Royals the two teams behind them.
The Tigers have won six games out of their last ten, which includes series wins against the Cardinals (2-0) and the Indians (2-1) as well as a series tie with the Astros (2-2). The Tigers are in the bottom third of the league when it comes to average runs scored per game, at 4.
The Tigers do not have a good record when they are playing against a team who have a winning record, they are 56-141 in their previous 197. On the flip side, the White Sox are currently 43-14 in their previous 57 when playing a team who has a losing record. We think this will be a fairly competitive clash, but we still like the look of the White Sox to get another win here.

The Angels managed to get the win in the first game of the series on Friday night, but it was certainly hard fought. The Orioles are shocking a lot of people with their results as of late, mainly beating the Astros 3-0 in that series. While it was great to see the underdog win, we don’t think they can keep up that form for long, and the loss on Friday night showed that. Back the Angels to get the win here at home again late on Saturday night.
