Miami Marlins @ New York Mets – 1:10PM ET
The Marlins head into their clash against the Mets with a dreadful 1-6 record. Whilst from their latest game against New York came a 2-3 defeat. Whilst for the opposition, their postponed start to the new campaign sees them with a 2-2 record. The highlight of that being an 8-4 crushing of Philadelphia. This clash at Citi Field will no doubt have a few more twists and turns as well.
Miami have lost their past four games by a combined score of 18-5 as they are looking well below par at the moment. Those scores were racked up against NY, then three straight came against St Louis 0-7, 2-4 and 1-4.

Jesús Aguilar who has a batting percentage of .333 this season might be one of the Marlins sole reasons they don’t get totally torn apart in this one. The 2018 All-Star would have to produce a lot however for his side to claim a shock win here.
Whilst when looking at the Mets Jeff McNeil is a name that stands out massively. The four-year experienced player hit a game-tying home run late on in the match to swing the momentum in his sides favour and without it they may have lost.
With all these high-calibre players featuring, despite Miami’s atrocious record, it really could be anybody’s game here.

Seattle Mariners @ Minnesota Twins – 2:10PM ET
Playing at the Target Field in Minneapolis most recently it was the Twins who crushed the Mariners 10-2 in what was a truly dominant display from the home side. And playing in front of a sell-out crowd of 9,675 spectators what a commanding victory it was!
Starring were the likes of Kyle Garlick whose stats included an RBI double and Andrelton Simmons who picked up three knocks. The former Phillie and ex-Angel both terrorised the away side.
And outside of those two, former Gold/Platinum Glove Award recipient Byron Buxton has also been making some serious waves this season. He’s the first player in Minnesota’s history to have extra-base hits in his opening six matches of the campaign. He also had a fantastic four homers during that period! Hats off to him.
Talking about the Mariners a lil bit now their 3-4 record isn’t exactly the most ideal. This after they still managed to win 27 games last season and finish 3rd in the AL West Division. They’ve also gone down in 3/4 of their most recent clashes. One being 4-10 to the White Sox and the other being 0-6 to the same side. OUCH!
Winning by eight during the last clash the Twins deserve to be the favourites again this time round. And even if the scores are a lil closer, still expect them to pull through when it counts.

San Diego Padres @ Texas Rangers – 7.05PM ET
Joe Musgrove take a bow! The former World Series Champion came up big in his sides win over 3-0 win vs Texas as he threw the first no-hitter in San Diego’s history. What an achievement to claim! He struck out 10 and walked none over 112 pitches in a game he’ll remember for the rest of his life.
How will the former Astro and Pirate back it up here? That’s one big question on everybody’s mind. His side have won 5 of 8 to start the season off with and they’re showing no apparent signs of slowing down any time soon. Over two of their opening three games they produced 8 and 7 scores against Arizona as well.

While linking to the opposition the Rangers have suffered some pretty heavy defeats this season. And unfortunately for their fans it’s just a continuation off of last season where they finished last in their division with a 22-38 record.
With some of the scores they’ve leaked so far, they really need the likes of Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Nick Solak to stand up big-time for them here from a defensive standpoint. Whatever their problems have been on the pitch this year, whether it’s positioning, what they’ve had to come up against, etc, it simply doesn’t matter. If it’s not fixed then the Padres could rack up a big score at the Globe Life Field.

Washington Nationals @ Los Angeles Dodgers – 9:10PM ET
The Dodgers are 6-2 and doing life easy currently. While for the Nationals they are 1-3 and well, struggling a little bit. LA have won their previous two series played this season against Oakland and Colorado respectively. And having just beaten Washington 1-0 they look to be well on their way to another.
The chances of Washington overcoming them at Dodger Stadium are minimum at best. The odds are stacked against the away side in this one.
With so much bad stuff going on around the world at the moment there was the well-deserved ring ceremony before LA’s game recently. Every Dodgers player was introduced by their child-hood hero. How cool and sweet is that?
However, for the Nationals their games haven’t been so sweet as of late. They’ve gone down in two straight defeats. First to LA then to Atlanta 6-7. They allowed the Braves to come up with five during the second period. Compounding that and making it worse is that Washington had actually come up with a 4-1 lead at the conclusion of the 1st.
It’s hard to envision the Dodgers not picking up the slack a notch or two here and really turning on the motors against the Nationals. I’m not saying things will get ugly in LA, but statistically there’s a good chance they will.
