Boston Red Sox @ Baltimore Orioles – 7.05PM ET
This Monday night game will be the fourth and final game in this mini series between the Boston Red Sox and the Baltimore Orioles. Boston have already taken out the series win, as they have won all previous three games, 6-2, 11-6 and 4-2, respectively. It seems like the Boston Red Sox are just too good of a team at the moment!
Boston have been having a nice run of things lately and are currently on a four game winning streak, which has pushed up their season record so far to 22-13. Based on their current form, Boston should certainly go into this game as favourites. When the Red Sox score four or more runs, they end up winning ten of their last twelve games.

The Baltimore Orioles have not been able to take advantage of their home field to get at least one win against the Red Sox. They need a win on Monday night to avoid a four game losing streak. Their current record for the season is at 15-19.
If we look back further to past Orioles home games, they are 60-126 in the last 186 games, which really isn’t a record you want to know about if you are an Orioles fan. Back the Red Sox for the clean sweep.

Los Angeles Angels @ Houston Astros – 8.10PM ET
This Monday night game will be the first of a three game mini series between the Los Angeles Angels and the Houston Astros. The Los Angeles Angels previous series was with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where they came out victorious, 2-1. The Houston Astros previous series was with the Toronto Blue Jays, where they also came out victorious, 2-1.
The Angels have only won two of their last seven games, and are suffering from some inconsistency. They really need to start to string more wins together if they want to be thought of as serious competitors.
They are scoring an average of 4.5 runs per game, which isn’t too bad, putting them 13th in the league. It’s the runs conceded that should have Angels fans worried, they have conceded a total of 167 runs, which is 29th in the league.
The Astros have also had a mixed bag to start the month, with four wins and four losses. They are doing well in terms of runs scored and run conceded so far this season, with an average of 4.87 runs per game, placing them 7th in the league, and a 4.07 average of runs conceded, placing them 10th in the league. With the Astros playing at home, we will back them to take home the first win of this mini series.

San Diego Padres @ Colorado Rockies – 8.40PM ET

This Monday night game will be the first of a three game mini series between the San Diego Padres and the Colorado Rockies. The San Diego Padres previous series was with the San Francisco Giants, where they lost, 2-1. The Colorado Rockies previous series was with the St Louis Cardinals, where they also lost, 3-0.
The San Diego Padres really need to steady the ship, and it looks like the series between the Rockies couldn’t have come at a better time, they are expected to win this series, so hopefully for Padres fans, they actually can. The Padres have a current season record of 19-16. The San Diego Padres have won the last five clashes with the Colorado Rockies.

The Colorado Rockies haven’t had a good start to the season, and they currently do not have a winning record, sitting at 12-22. The Rockies have lost five out of their last seven games and while it is only early in the season, they need to turn things around and get that record closer to 0.500 if they want to remain competitive. But we don’t think they will be able to do it against the Padres on Monday.

Miami Marlins @ Arizona Diamondbacks – 9.40PM ET
This Monday night game will be the first of a three game mini series between the Miami Marlins and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Miami Marlins previous series was with the Milwaukee Brewers, where they lost, 2-1. The Arizona Diamondbacks previous series was with the New York Mets, where they also lost, 3-0.
The Miami Marlins were close to taking home the series win against the Brewers, but were narrowly beat in the deciding third game, 2-1. They need to rebound quickly as their current season record is at 15-18.
The Marlins are currently scoring an average of 4.2 runs per game, which puts them in 18th position in the league. It’s the runs conceded that have the Marlins fans happy, they have only conceded 107 runs so far, putting them 3rd in the league.
Looks like a battle of one of the best teams in the league in terms of runs conceded against one of the best teams in terms of runs scored. The Arizona Diamondbacks score an average of 4.97 runs per game, which is good enough for 3rd in the league. Despite this good average, they have lost six games in a row. But we like the look of the Diamondbacks to turn it around in this game.

Texas Rangers @ San Francisco Giants – 9.45PM ET
This Monday night game will be the first of a two game mini series between the Texas Rangers and the San Francisco Giants. The Texas Rangers previous series was with the Seattle Mariners, where they won, 2-1. The San Francisco Giants previous series was with the San Diego Padres, where they also won, 2-1.
Last game out the Texas Rangers had a field day, winning 10-2, they will be looking to build on from this with another win against the Giants. A win on Monday night would help get their season record to even, they are currently sitting at 17-18.
The Rangers are scoring an average of 4.1 runs per game, putting them 21st in the league. When it comes to runs conceded they slip down slightly, they are 22nd in the league, with 147 conceded runs.

On the other hand, the Giants got smashed in their previous game on Sunday against the Padres, going down 11-1. It was not good viewing for the Giants fans and it seemed the game was already over by the third innings where the Padres had 5 runs to nothing.
The Giants are currently scoring an average of 4.45 runs per game, which puts them in 14th position. We like the look of the Giants to bounce back here and get the W.
