They have won six out of their ten on the year but currently find themselves on a two game losing streak. 

The New York Mets continue to keep beating up on the Miami Marlins this season and if game one of this four game weekend series is any indication it’s going to continue to happen. As the Mets now come into game number two having outscored the Marlins a combined 43-21 in eight games played between the two this year. The Mets come into this game with a record of 52-31 through their first 83 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. I expect them to pick up another win here on Friday.

The Atlanta Braves are coming into this game after wrapping up a successful series with the St.Louis Cardinals. They didn’t get the series sweep they wanted but they did win three out of four games. They come into this series with the Washington Nationals with a record of 49-35 through their first 84 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. As for the result of this game I am going with the Braves to get the series-opening win.
