Philadelphia will be looking to pick up their second consecutive victory in this series after they opened up the series on Saturday with a much needed win over the Atlanta Braves. Philadelphia will be looking to Atlanta out of the postseason for the second consecutive season as they look to defend their National League pennant and make a second consecutive trip to the World Series as well. With Zach Wheeler getting the baseball for the second game of this series here on Monday night, it gives Philadelphia a solid chance of grabbing a victory on the road in Atlanta before heading home for the next two games of the series with the Braves on the brink of elimination. They will be looking to execute much like they did on Saturday and pick up their second consecutive victory.

The Atlanta Braves will be looking to bounce back from their game one loss in this series on Saturday night. Game two of this series here on Monday night feels like a must win game for Atlanta as they cannot afford to lose two consecutive games at home before heading on the road to Philadelphia. Atlanta was the best team in baseball this season and it would be a shame if they crashed out early in the postseason for the second consecutive season after coming into the year with so many expectations. Max Fried will pitch for them in this game and after a solid season I expect him to have a quality performance in this one and lead the Atlanta Braves to a victory here on Monday night.

Arizona Diamondbacks @ Los Angeles Dodgers – 9:07PM ET

The Arizona Diamondbacks will be looking to pick up their second consecutive victory of this series against the Los Angeles Dodgers here on Monday night in Los Angeles. Arizona jumped out to an early lead as they put up nine runs before the second inning in the opening game of the series on Saturday and they will be looking to replicate that performance here on Monday night as they look to put the Dodgers on the brink of elimination before heading home for the following two games. Potential National League Cy Young award winner, Zac Gallen will get the start for Arizona in this one which gives them a fantastic shot at grabbing their second consecutive victory in this series against the National League West division champions. 

The Los Angeles Dodgers will be looking to bounce back here in the second game of this series at home on Monday night as they look to even up this series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Their young rookie starting pitcher Bobby Miller will get the baseball for this game, and he will be looking to deliver a quality performance opposite one of the best starting pitchers in all of Major League Baseball this season. The Los Angeles Dodgers want to even up this series. He will not have much room for error in this one on Monday night and because of his inexperience I don’t look for things to go too well for Los Angeles. As I look for the Arizona Diamondbacks to grab their second consecutive victory of the series here on Monday night on the road.
