For Atlanta, righty Jake Odorizzi (5-5, 3.90 ERA) gets the ball. He has made one prior start against the Marlins this season, giving up two runs over four innings in a 4-3 road win on August 12. He gave up eight hits and walked one, while striking out two in the no-decision. In his last start on Sunday, Odorizzi took a no-decision on the road against the Cardinals. He threw 5.2 innings and gave up two runs on four hits, striking out four and walking one in the 6-3 defeat.


Over the last five games, Miami has averaged only 1.4 runs a game, down from their season average of 3.6, while performing worse across the board (.170/.235/.273). Against right-handed pitchers like Odorizzi this season, the Fish have a .680 OPS.
