Hot-hitting Michael Harris II will be looking to extend his 10-game hitting streak as the Atlanta Braves (82-51) host the Miami Marlins (55-76) at Truist Park on Saturday. The Braves took Friday’s series opener 8-1, their sixth straight head-to-head victory and 10th in 14 games this season. Starter Charlie Morton went 5.2 innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out seven, to get the win. Travis d’Arnaud went 2 for 3 with two home runs, three runs, and three RBIs in the win. Harris II added a home run, two runs, and two RBIs. Jerar Encarnacion was 1 for 3 with a solo home run for the Marlins.

Edward Cabrera (4-2, 2.45 ERA) is slated to start for Miami. The RHP allowed six runs over 5.2 innings in his last start, an 8-1 road defeat against the Dodgers on Sunday. He was charged with the loss, giving up five hits while striking out five and walking three. Cabrera is making his first appearance against the Braves this season. Cabrera made one start against the Braves in 2021, a 5-3 road loss on September 12. He surrendered two runs on three hits over 3.2 innings, striking out four and walking three. For Atlanta, righty Jake Odorizzi (5-5, 3.90 ERA) gets the ball. He has made one prior start against the Marlins this season, giving up two runs over four innings in a 4-3 road win on August 12. He gave up eight hits and walked one, while striking out two in the no-decision. In his last start on Sunday, Odorizzi took a no-decision on the road against the Cardinals. He threw 5.2 innings and gave up two runs on four hits, striking out four and walking one in the 6-3 defeat.
