Bryan Hoeing is expected to make his first start of the season as the Miami Marlins (12-11) face off against the Atlanta Braves (15-8) at Truist Park on Tuesday.
The Braves took Monday’s series opener 11-0. Starter Spencer Strider threw eight scoreless innings – striking out 13 – for the win. Sam Hilliard went 2 for 4 with two home runs and three RBIs in the win. Sean Murphy went 3 for 5 with a home run and two runs. Jean Segura was 1 for 3 for the Marlins.
