He gave up five hits while striking out six and walking one in the no-decision. Right-hander Charlie Morton (5-6, 3.60 ERA) gets the start for Atlanta.
It’s his first appearance of the season against the Rockies. Morton made one start against the Rockies in 2022, throwing five innings in an 8-7 road win on June 5. He gave up six hits and walked three while striking out eight in the win.
In his last start on Monday, Morton took a no-decision on the road against the Tigers. He threw 5.2 scoreless innings and gave up four hits, striking out eight and walking three in the 6-5 defeat.
