The Arizona Diamondbacks (50-35), one of the most productive offenses in MLB, are set to host the New York Mets (38-46) at Chase Field on Tuesday for the first of a three-game series.

The Mets are playing their first of six games on the road after closing out a seven-game homestand (3-4). They won two out of three in their last series against the Giants, taking the finale 8-4 on Sunday at Citi Field.

Tommy Pham was 3 for 4 with two doubles, two runs, and one RBI. Pete Alonso added a home run and a double. He scored two runs and had three RBIs.

The Diamondbacks are playing the first of six games at home. They won two of three against the Angels in their last series, dropping the finale 5-2 on Sunday at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.

Carson Kelly went 1 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs. The teams are meeting for the first time this season. Last season, the Mets won four of the six games between the teams, including two out of three in their most recent meeting at Chase Field in April.

He gave up seven hits and walked one while striking out two in the loss. In his last start on Wednesday, Davies took a no-decision at home against the Rays. He threw seven scoreless innings and gave up two hits, striking out three and walking two in the 3-2 loss.
