DAMWON Gaming entered the final stage of the tournament as the -250 favourite to defeat Suning who were the +170 underdogs. DAMWON went on to win the tournament 3-1 in the Finals, and claim their first world title.

After taking home 25% of the multi-million-dollar prize pool, DAMWON Gaming has opened as the +200 favourite to win the 2021 League of Legends World Championships in China next year.
The difficulty in betting on next year’s League of Legends World Championships and all eSports for that matter, is that some teams will look completely different year after year. This can be attributed to the amount of skilled players coming through the ranks and the growing popularity and professionalism of the eSports industry.
However, if DAMWON can keep their 2020 team together, then they should enter as favourites for Worlds in 2021.
