The University of Toledo Rockets (6-3, 4-1 MAC) play host to the Ball State University Cardinals (5-4, 3-2 MAC) at Glass Bowl on Tuesday for a matchup that pits the Mid-American Conference’s best passing defense against one of its strongest aerial offenses. Ball State is coming off a 27-20 win over Kent State at Dix Stadium last Tuesday.
John Paddock was 26 of 41 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Carson Steele ran 29 times for 192 yards and a touchdown. Jayshon Jackson caught 10 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Toledo beat Eastern Michigan 27-24 at Rynearson Stadium last Saturday. Tucker Gleason threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns. Jacquez Stuart carried 11 times for 60 yards. Devin Maddox caught three receptions for 80 yards.
