The Temple University Owls (3-6, 1-4 AAC) and their stifling passing defense travel to take on the No. 25 University of Houston Cougars (5-4, 3-2 AAC) and their powerful aerial offense at TDECU Stadium on Saturday.
The Cougars are 20-point favorites, and the total is 56.5. Temple is coming off a one-sided 54-28 win over South Florida at Lincoln Financial Field last Saturday. E.J. Warner was 27 of 36 for 344 yards and two touchdowns. Edward Saydee ran 24 times for 265 yards and three touchdowns.
He added four receptions for 69 yards. Jose Barbon caught eight passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. Houston lost 77-63 to SMU at Gerald J. Ford Stadium last Saturday. Clayton Tune threw for 528 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions.
