#23 Kansas State @ #7 Texas – 12PM ET

Tony Battalio

Kansas State will be looking to go on the road to Austin and upset the seventh ranked Texas Longhorns here on Saturday afternoon. Kansas State is putting together a pretty solid season as they come into this game with six victories, through their first eight games of the year. If they can grab their seventh victory of the season here on Saturday afternoon, they would put themselves in a position to potentially compete for a spot in the conference championship game later on this year. They have already qualified for a bowl game, and they will be looking to keep making their way up the college football playoff rankings throughout the remainder of the regular season. They come into this game on a three game winning streak, and all three victories came by double digits and they will be looking to replicate those performances here on Saturday in Texas.

The Texas Longhorns will be looking to keep their college football playoff hopes alive with a victory here on Saturday afternoon at home against a top 25 ranked team in Kansas State. It has been a solid season for Texas so far and they will be looking to ride the wave here on Saturday afternoon and remain in playoff contention as well as hold onto the second spot in the conference heading into the final few weeks of the regular season. Texas is still bouncing back from their loss to Oklahoma several weeks ago and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday at home against a very solid Kansas State team. Luckily for Texas I expect them to remain in contention for the college football playoffs with a victory here on Saturday afternoon in a physical, hard fought game.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Texas (-200)

Texas A&M @ #10 Ole Miss – 12PM ET

Tony Battalio

Texas A&M will be looking for a statement victory here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Mississippi against the top 10 ranked Ole Miss team that still has aspirations for a college football playoff appearance. Despite all the talent on their roster it has been a pretty average season for Texas A&M. Jimbo Fisher’s seat is just going to continue getting hotter if championship results do not start lining up with championship expectations within the next couple of seasons. They come into this game with five victories to their name on the season, and they are one victory away from being eligible for a bowl game this year, but they had much higher expectations prior to the year starting. They will be looking for a statement victory and potentially help keep their head coach his job with a victory here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Oxford.

Ole Miss comes into this game sitting on the outside looking in in the college football playoff rankings as they were ranked number 10 in the initial drop last Tuesday. Their path to the SEC championship game is very unrealistic at the moment and they will have to get some help if they want to accomplish their goal of playing for a national championship this season. As of right now they would lose the tiebreaker to Alabama and they would need to lose two conference games with about four games remaining in the season, which seems highly unlikely for them at this point. However, they will be looking to take care of business here on Saturday at home against Texas A&M as they look to keep themselves in the running for the SEC title game and the college football playoffs with a victory here on Saturday. That is exactly exactly what I expect as I look for Ole Miss to pick up the win over Texas A&M here in this one.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Ole Miss (-165)

#12 Missouri @ #2 Georgia – 3:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

Missouri comes into this game looking to keep their faint college football playoff hopes alive with a quality performance here on Saturday afternoon on the road in Athens. If they can manage to get a victory over the Georgia Bulldogs, it immediately put them back into contention for the college football playoff race as well as put them at the top of the SEC East division heading into the final few weeks of the regular season. They have been putting together a solid season, and they’ve done it rather quietly as they have not made much noise throughout the year, but they have an opportunity to disrupt the landscape of college football with a win in this game on Saturday afternoon. They come into this game on a two game winning streak after back-to-back victories against Kentucky and LSU, and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here on Saturday.

The Georgia Bulldogs spent the majority of the last two years ranked as the top team in the country but after the initial college football playoff rankings came out on Tuesday they fell to number two. As their résumé just doesn’t have a major name on it like Ohio State, who has a pair of solid victories throughout the regular season thus far. Georgia has an opportunity to change that narrative with a victory here on Saturday afternoon against Missouri at home and potentially regain their number one overall ranking if they do it in blowout fashion. They are still the top of the mountain as far as it goes as they are still the two time defending national champions, and they will be looking to keep their undefeated season alive with a quality performance here in this game. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Georgia to pick up the victory in this game on Saturday afternoon but I think Missouri will cover.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Missouri +15.5 (-115)

#9 Oklahoma @ #22 Oklahoma State – 3:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

Oklahoma comes into this game, looking to bounce back after their shocking loss to the Kansas Jayhawks on the road last Saturday afternoon. Oklahoma is still very much in the college football playoff conversation but they cannot afford to slip up anymore this season. As they will have to win their remaining games if they want to have an opportunity to compete for a national championship. They will be looking to grab a victory in this one in their rivalry game against Oklahoma State that is taking place several weeks before the end of the regular season and while it seems like awkward timing, it doesn’t change the fact that this game could easily get extremely physical and heated throughout the contest. Oklahoma will have to play a consistent solid game here on Saturday if they want to avoid losing a second consecutive game this season.

Oklahoma State has put together a consistent season and they will be looking to grab a massive victory here on Saturday afternoon at home in this rivalry game against Oklahoma. A victory in this game could keep them in contention for a spot in the conference championship game and it would give them a massive momentum boost heading into the final stretch of their regular season schedule. This is arguably one of college football’s most underrated rivalries, and for a long time now Oklahoma State has felt like a little brother and they will be looking to change the narrative with a victory here in this game on Saturday to knock Oklahoma out of the college football playoff conversation heading into the final four weeks of the regular season. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Oklahoma State to grab a victory over Oklahoma here at home on Saturday.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Oklahoma State (+190)

#14 LSU @ #8 Alabama – 7:45PM ET

Tony Battalio

LSU comes into this game in the middle of a decent season, and they will be looking for their second consecutive victory over Alabama here on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. A victory over Alabama would knock the Crimson Tide out of the college football playoff race and it would give LSU the inside track in the SEC West division, and it would give them an easier path to making the SEC championship game as well. They come into this game ranked just inside the top 15 and they will be looking to grab a huge victory here on Saturday night, but with Brian Kelly’s history and big games it seems very unlikely that LSU will show up and be up to the task of taking down Alabama on the road in Tuscaloosa here on Saturday.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will be looking to remain in the college football playoff conversation and the SEC title conversation with a victory here on Saturday night at home against LSU. Alabama has improved each and every week, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality victory here in this one at home against one of their biggest rivals. They will also be looking to get revenge from their loss last season on the road in Baton Rouge and build up as much momentum as possible heading into the final few weeks of their season and the eventual showdown with Auburn in the Iron Bowl. I expect it to be a close hard fought game and in the end I think it’ll be Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide to pull out the victory at home.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Alabama (-165)
