#18 Oklahoma State @ #7 Texas – 12PM ET

Tony Battalio

Oklahoma State will be looking to cap off a massive season by beating both Oklahoma and Texas and sending them away from the Big 12 conference in style. They will also be looking to end the Texas Longhorns hopes of making the college football football playoffs this season as well and win the conference title as they look to clinch themselves a spot in a New Year’s Bowl game this season. They have put together a quality season and now they will be looking to cap it off for a conference championship victory as well. Oklahoma State will also be looking to get revenge for their regular season loss to Texas earlier on this season. A victory in this game against Texas would also give them double digit wins on the season and put them at the top of the mountain in the conference heading into next season when they will not have Texas and Oklahoma in front of them. Oklahoma State comes into this game with some momentum after winning their last two games in a row and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here on Saturday.

The Texas Longhorns have put together an incredible campaign throughout the regular season, and they will be looking to cap off their run in the conference for a conference championship victory here on Saturday. At the end of the athletic year, they will be leaving for the SEC in all of their sports and it is the end of an era for this Big 12 conference that will lose both Texas and Oklahoma. Texas was the inaugural winner of this conference, and they will be looking to cap off their run with another victory and a victory in this game would likely put them into the college football playoffs as well. Texas has been on an incredible run despite their loss to Oklahoma, and they have one of the best victories of the season as they went on the road to Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama. They will be looking to cap off this regular season with a victory, and then await their college football playoff fate watching the rest of championship Saturday. That is exactly what I expect out of Texas in this game as I look for them to pick up the win over Oklahoma State here on Saturday afternoon.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Texas -15.5 (-110)

#1 Georgia @ #8 Alabama – 4PM ET

Tony Battalio

Georgia comes into this game as the two time defending national champions, and they have won 29 games in a row. They will be looking for their 30th consecutive victory and their second consecutive undefeated regular season. A victory in this game with established them as the number one team in the country heading into the college football playoffs, but it seems likely that they are in no matter what happens here on championship Saturday, despite all the crazy scenarios that could possibly pan out. They struggled against Georgia Tech last weekend, but they were missing a lot of their players on the offensive side of the football that they should have back for this game against Alabama on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta. Georgia will face their toughest test all season when they play this Alabama team and they will have to play a mistake free game of football in this one if they want to get the job. But they are very capable of grabbing their second consecutive SEC championship with a quality performance here on Saturday.

The Alabama Crimson Tide come into this game having to win if they want to make the postseason after losing to Texas at home earlier on in the year. However, Alabama has gotten hot since that loss to the Longhorns all the way back in week too and they survived Auburn in the Iron Bowl last week to keep their hopes coming into this game on Saturday afternoon. They are at their best right now, which is dangerous for Georgia, and the rest of the country, heading into the playoffs because they win in this game would give Alabama all the momentum and firmly establish them as a contender to win the national championship this season. Everybody counted out after they lost Texas earlier this year and then they had some close calls and everyone will likely be counting them out in this game as well. But we’ve seen time and time again Nick Saban is more than capable of getting the job done when it matters most. However, I don’t look for it to be this time as I look for the Georgia Bulldogs to pull out the victory here on Saturday against Alabama.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Georgia -5.5 (-110)

SMU @ #22 Tulane – 4PM ET

Tony Battalio

SMU comes into this game looking to pick up a solid victory over Tulane in the American Athletic Conference championship game and potentially get themselves a quality bowl game as well. They have had a quietly successful season as they come into this game with double digit victories on the year and now they have an opportunity to cap off their conference schedule with an undefeated record before heading to the Atlantic Coast Conference next season. This would be a perfect way to wrap up their tenure as a group of five member before going into power five and becoming a potential national championship contender for the first time in over 40 years. SMU has been red hot as of late as they are blowing out everybody in their path and they will be looking to secure another blowout victory here on Saturday afternoon and win the American Athletic Conference championship game.

Tulane has had an incredible season and they will be looking to cap it off with a conference championship game and a victory that would likely give them a New Year’s Six bowl as well. They come into this game with 11 victories through their first 12 games of the regular season and they are undefeated in conference play. They are currently on a ten game winning streak coming into this game on Saturday afternoon as well and they will be looking for their 11th consecutive victory of the season against Southern Methodist. They have tore their way through the American Athletic Conference and they will be looking to send SMU off to the ACC without a conference championship here in this game on Saturday. They will also be searching for their second consecutive conference championship victory as they look to establish themselves as a dynasty within the American Athletic Conference. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Green Wave to bring home the victory in this game on Saturday afternoon.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Tulane -3 (-110)

#2 Michigan @ #16 Iowa – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Michigan Wolverines are looking for their third consecutive Big Ten championship victory after their third consecutive victory over Ohio State. They will also be looking to cap off their second consecutive undefeated season with a quality performance here on Saturday night in Indianapolis, as Michigan looks to secure their spot in the playoffs. They have been incredible throughout the season, but this is one of the toughest defenses they will see all year and they will be looking to conquer the test with another quality offensive outburst here on Saturday night against Iowa. Michigan has been solid all year long and as long as JJ McCarthy, and both of their running backs, stay healthy and consistent they should have no problem grabbing a victory over this Iowa team here on Saturday night in Indianapolis. As they look to secure their third consecutive conference championship victory, and their third consecutive trip to the college football playoffs as well.

The Iowa Hawkeyes have been incredible on the defensive side of the football throughout the regular season. Their defense has led them to 10 victories this season in a spot in the Big Ten championship game. If Iowa had any type of offensive firepower, they could potentially be a national championship contender this season. That has been their issue over the last several seasons, and they lack any type of game changing ability on the offensive side of the football, and they solely rely on their defense to get the job done for them. That is something that we need to change in the future if Iowa wants to remain competitive in this Big Ten conference that is going all the way up to 18 teams next season. Iowa will be looking to cap off this area of the Big Ten with a conference championship and potentially take some momentum away from Michigan heading into the college football playoffs. They will also be looking to secure themselves a spot in a quality bowl game with a victory here on Saturday. Unfortunately for Iowa I think their offense will be their undoing in this one as I look for Michigan to pick up the win.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Michigan -22.5 (-105)

#14 Louisville @ #4 Florida State – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

Louisville is experiencing a fantastic season and they will be looking to cap it off with a conference championship victory as well. If they were able to avoid a couple of upset losses throughout the regular season, especially last weekend in Kentucky, Louisville might be playing for a spot in the college football playoffs in this game against Florida State on Saturday night. However, that is not the case and now they will be looking to settle for a conference championship in a spot in a major bowl game as they look to build momentum heading into next year. They have been solid all season long and they have got the job done with a mix of quality play on both sides of the football and they will be looking to do that once again at this game against Florida State on Saturday night. They come into this game looking to bounce back from their crushing loss to the Kentucky Wildcats and their previous game as they look to get back on track and win the Atlantic Coast Conference championship here on Saturday night.

Florida State looked to be on track to have an undefeated season and make the college football playoffs before Jordan Travis went down with an injury in the North Alabama game. Now everything seems to be fuzzy regarding their future, and if they get the job done here on Saturday, they will make the playoffs, but they are no longer potential favorites to win the national championship after the injury of Jordan Travis. They survived the Florida Gators and their previous game, and they will be looking to grab another victory here on Saturday night against Louisville to win the ACC conference championship. A victory in this game will also secure themselves a spot at the college football playoffs as well. Florida State has plenty of talent on both sides of the football to get the job done here in this one even without their superstar quarterback and that is exactly what I expect, as I look for the Seminoles to bring home the win in this game.

SportsTips’ NCAAF Pick:

Florida State (-125)
