The No. 5 Clemson University Tigers (1-0, 1-0 ACC) open their home schedule at Memorial Stadium on Saturday against the Furman University Paladins. Furman is coming off an impressive 52-0 win over North Greenville at Paladin Stadium last Thursday. Tyler Huff was 10-12 for 189 yards and two touchdowns. Huff ran five times for 94 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Miller caught four passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Clemson (1-0, 1-0 ACC) beat Georgia Tech 41-10 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Monday. DJ Uiagalelei threw for 259 yards and a touchdown. Will Shipley carried 10 times for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Beaux Collins added a touchdown of his own. He caught three receptions for 54 yards.

The teams are meeting in the regular season for the first time since September 2018, a 48-7 win for the Tigers. Clemson is 38th in FBS in scoring average among teams who have already played after posting 41 points in Week 1, while the home team’s 10 points surrendered ranks 22nd.
