Eastern Kentucky is coming off a 42-34 loss to Eastern Michigan at Rynearson Stadium last Friday. Parker McKinney was 35-51 for 351 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Braedon Sloan ran 13 times for 49 yards. Dakota Allen caught nine passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Bowling Green (0-1, 0-0 Home) lost 45-17 to UCLA at Rose Bowl last Saturday. Matt McDonald threw for 125 yards and a touchdown. Jamal Johnson carried 10 times for 45 yards. Christian Sims scored once. He had four receptions for 33 yards.

The teams are meeting in the regular season for the first time since September 2018, a 42-35 win for the Falcons. Bowling Green is 105th in FBS in scoring average among teams who have already played after posting 17 points in Week 1, while the home team’s 45 points surrendered ranks 119th.
