The No. 8 University of Alabama Crimson Tide (8-2, 5-0 Home) play host to the Austin Peay State University Governors at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.
Austin Peay is coming off a convincing 31-14 win over Kennesaw State at Fifth Third Bank Stadium last Saturday. Mike DiLiello threw for 204 yards and an interception. Jevon Jackson ran 10 times for 79 yards and two touchdowns.
Drae McCray caught 10 passes for 95 yards. Alabama beat No. 11 Ole Miss 30-24 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field last Saturday. Bryce Young was 21 of 33 for 209 yards and three touchdowns. Jase McClellan carried 19 times for 84 yards. Ja’Corey Brooks scored once.
He had four receptions for 61 yards. The Crimson Tide are averaging 40.6 points per game for the season, sixth in FBS, while allowing 18.9 PPG (15th).Alabama is 27th in the country in passing yards per game (273.2) and 30th in rushing (193.3).
Defensively, the Crimson Tide are 19th in the country in rushing yards allowed per game (112.7). Against the pass, Alabama is 33rd (200.8).
