The Eastern Michigan University Eagles (5-4, 2-3 MAC) head to face the University of Akron Zips (1-8, 0-5 MAC) at Summa Field at InfoCision Stadium on Tuesday for a matchup that pits one of the Mid-American Conference’s best passing defenses against one of its strongest aerial offenses.

Akron dropped an eighth straight game last Saturday, falling 27-9 to Miami (OH) at Summa Field at InfoCision Stadium. DJ Irons was 31 of 49 for 316 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He added 58 yards on the ground. Alex Adams scored once. He hauled in 10 receptions for 115 yards.
