TCU was edged out by the Iowa State Cyclones 69-67 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena on Saturday. Mike Miles Jr. led the way in defeat with 18 points. The Horned Frogs remain fourth in the Big 12 Conference.
Texas triumphed on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena, beating the Oklahoma State Cowboys 56-46. Marcus Carr topped the scoresheet with 12 points. The Longhorns remain fifth in the Big 12 Conference.
The teams are meeting for the only time this season. They last met in the Big 12 Conference Tourney quarterfinals when the Horned Frogs eliminated the Longhorns with a 65-60 victory at T-Mobile Center in March 2022.
Texas won both regular season matchups between the teams last season, the last of which was a 60-65 triumph at T-Mobile Center in March 2022. Damion Baugh led the Horned Frogs with 17 points, while Eddie Lampkin Jr. added 10 points and nine rebounds. Timmy Allen had 16 points and nine rebounds in defeat.
