The Oklahoma State Cowboys (12-9, 3-5 Big 12) host the No. 15 TCU Horned Frogs (17-5, 6-3 Big 12) Saturday in a game that may see lower point totals.
TCU beat the West Virginia Mountaineers 76-72 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena on Tuesday. JaKobe Coles was the scoring leader with 17 points. Damion Baugh added 16 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds.
The Horned Frogs remain second in the Big 12 Conference. Oklahoma State won their third home game in a row in impressive fashion on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena, beating the Ole Miss Rebels 82-60. Kalib Boone had 18 points to lead the team.
The teams are meeting for the only time this season. TCU and Oklahoma State split their matchups last season, each team winning one game. The Horned Frogs took the last meeting 77-73 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena in February 2022. Chuck O’Bannon Jr. led the Horned Frogs with 19 points.
Isaac Likekele had 19 points and six rebounds in the losing effort. The Horned Frogs have been led this season by Mike Miles Jr., who is averaging 14.8 points per game. Meanwhile, Emanuel Miller is grabbing 5.6 rebounds per game, and Baugh is dishing 3.8 assists.
Boone (11.3 ppg), Bryce Thompson (11.1), and Avery Anderson III (11.0) have powered the Cowboys’ offense. Anderson III also has distributed 3.4 assists per game. Meanwhile, Moussa Cisse has posted 7.0 rebounds per game.
