North Carolina won their third in a row on Tuesday at Dean E. Smith Center, beating the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs 72-66. Caleb Love topped the scoresheet with 20 points.
With 18 points and three blocks, Pete Nance also produced a strong performance. Vado Morse (15.8 ppg), Takal Molson (13.5), and Terrence Edwards (13.5) are leading the Dukes in scoring so far this season. Edwards also has grabbed 5.8 rebounds per game, while Morse has dished 3.8 assists per game.
Love and Armando Bacot have powered the Tar Heels on offense, averaging 20.7 and 18.0 points per game, respectively. Bacot also has pulled down 8.0 rebounds per game, while Love has doled out 3.0 assists per game.
