It’s been a rough start to the regular season for Jacksonville State and they will look to come into Madison here on Thursday night and pull off an upset over the 23rd ranked Wisconsin Badgers. This would be a massive upset for Jacksonville State if they could get the job done here in this one. As it would give them a huge momentum boost, and a huge résumé building victory throughout the early early part of the regular season. Jacksonville State comes into this game as losers of six out of their first 10 games of the regular season and they will look for their fifth victory of the year here on Thursday night on the road against Wisconsin. This will be one of their toughest games of the season and they will look to put on a quality performance against a quality team here in this one as they look to get things rolling in the right direction throughout the rest of December.

The Wisconsin Badgers are off to a quality start this season and they come into this game ranked inside the top 25 of the country. They will look at another nonconference victory to their record before heading into Big Ten conference play at the end of the month as they look to further establish themselves as a top 25 team. Wisconsin comes into this game with seven victories through their first 10 games of the regular season and they will look for their eighth victory of the year here on Thursday night at home against Jacksonville State. They have been solid on both ends of the court throughout their first 10 games of the year as they are averaging over 70 points on offense, and less than 70 points allowed on defense. I look for them to put together another solid all around performance throughout this game on Thursday night and pick up the victory. I also look for the Wisconsin Badgers to cover the spread over Jacksonville State in the process.

St.Thomas (MN) @ #7 Marquette – 8PM ET

St. Thomas is having a quality season but they will face their toughest test of the season here on Thursday night on the road against Marquette. They come into this game two games above .500 through their first 10 games of the season and they will be looking for their seventh victory of the year here in this one on Thursday night on the road against the Golden Eagles. They will need to play a perfect game of basketball if they want to get the job done on the road against one of the top 10 teams in the country here in this one. They’ve been solid on the defensive end of the court throughout the early part of the year as they are only giving up 61 points per game but the problem is they’re only scoring around 67 points per game. That could be an issue against a solid Marquette team that will likely just outscore them here in this one even if they have the best defensive game of their life. They come into this game with plenty of momentum as they have picked up three consecutive victories, and they will look for a fourth consecutive win here in this one on Thursday.

Marquette is putting together an incredible season, and they will look to keep the momentum rolling here on Thursday night at home against St. Thomas. They come into this game ranked as the number seven team in the country, and they will look to further establish themselves as a top 10 team in the country with another dominating performance here in this one. This is a Marquette team that will be competing in the toughest conference in the nation this season when they enter Big East play in a couple weeks so they will need to pick up every nonconference victory that they can get along the way. They come into this game with eight victories through their first 10 games of the season and they will look for their ninth victory of the year here on Thursday night. That is exactly what I expect out of Marquette, as not only do I look for them to pick up the wind here in this one, but I also look for them to cover the spread in comfortable fashion.
