The No. 17 Miami (FL) Hurricanes (15-4, 6-3 ACC), one of the top scoring teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference, are on the road to face the Florida State Seminoles (7-13, 5-4 ACC) on Tuesday.
Miami (FL) was narrowly defeated by the Duke Blue Devils 68-66 at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday, their third straight loss away from home. Jordan Miller was the key player in the losing effort with 19 points and eight rebounds.
The Hurricanes remain fifth in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Florida State won on Saturday at Petersen Events Center, beating the Pittsburgh Panthers 71-64. Darin Green Jr. had 24 points to lead the team. The Seminoles remain 10th in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The teams are meeting for the only time this season. Florida State won both matchups between the teams last season, the last of which was a 61-60 triumph at Watsco Center in January 2022, their ninth straight head-to-head victory. Isaiah Wong led all players in scoring with 22 points in the loss.
Caleb Mills had 16 points for the Seminoles, while Anthony Polite contributed 15 points and seven rebounds. The Hurricanes have been led this season by Wong and Miller, who are averaging 16.2 and 15.0 points per game, respectively. Wong also has dished 3.7 assists per game.
