The Phoenix Suns (37-30, 15-19 Away) will try to slow down one of the NBA’s top scoring teams when they travel to face the Golden State Warriors (35-33, 28-7 Home) on Monday.
Phoenix was defeated by the Sacramento Kings 128-119 at Footprint Center on Saturday. Devin Booker led the way in the loss with 28 points and eight assists. The Suns are fourth in the Western Conference.
Golden State won their seventh straight home game on Saturday at Chase Center, beating the Milwaukee Bucks 125-116 in overtime. Stephen Curry had 36 points and six rebounds, leading the team. The Warriors are the sixth seed in the Western Conference. The teams are meeting for the final time this season.
Phoenix will be seeking a season sweep against Golden State after winning all three of their earlier matchups, the last of which was a 125-113 victory at Chase Center on January 10, their fourth straight head-to-head victory. Mikal Bridges led the Suns with 26 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks.
