Free UFC Best Bets For UFC 283
Sat 21st January 2023

We are looking at an absolutely stacked card for UFC 283, on January 21st. The main event is a huge light heavyweight fight and the co-main event is also a huge fight.

Read on below to find out UFC Best Bets for this weekend’s UFC 283!

Glover Teixeira vs Jamahal Hill – Light Heavyweight Title Fight

This is by far going to be the best fight on an already loaded card as these two light heavyweights face off to determine who will win the UFC light heavyweight championship. Glover Teixeira has had a lengthy career that has spanned over a decade and he has one numerous championships in mixed martial arts, and he will be going to get his light heavyweight championship back in this one. Meanwhile, Hill will be looking to win his first title inside the UFC octagon in this fight.

Teixeira comes into this fight sporting a 33-8 record in 41 career fights, while Hill is still relatively new to the scene and has an 11-1 record in 12 professional fights. This battle could go, arguably either way is it really is the story of the grizzled veteran versus the young up and comer. However, I have to give the edge to Glover Teixeira, who is fighting in his home country of Brazil, and will give everything it takes to get his title back in front of his home crowd. I’m taking Teixeira by decision in this fight.

SportsTips’ UFC Pick:

Teixeira by DEC (+700)

Deiveson Figueiredo vs Brandon Moreno – Flyweight Title Fight

These two fighters are very familiar with each other at this point, as they are facing off once again for the flyweight championship. They are both interim champions at the moment, and the winner will become the undisputed flyweight champion in the UFC. This will likely be their fourth and final fight against each other as they have each picked up a victory against the other, and they have one draw as well. Clearly the past results showed this fight can arguably go either way.

Moreno comes into this fight after 28 career professional fights with a record of 20-6-2 in those bouts. Figueiredo comes into fight after 24 career professional fights with a record of 21-2-1 in those bouts. He is arguably the favored one in this fight. However, I’m gonna go with Brandon Moreno to pick up the victory over Deiveson Figueiredo, in their fourth and final fight. I look for Moreno to control the majority of this fight and end up winning it by decision to officially become the UFC flyweight champion.

SportsTips’ UFC Pick:

Moreno by DEC (+200)

Gilbert Burns vs Neil Magny – Welterweight

Gilbert Burns comes into this fight with a record of 20-5 in 25 career professional fights. It has been an up-and-down last few fights for him as he has lost two out of his last three fights. One of those losses came by decision, and the other came by knockout. He will be looking to bounce back and get himself back into title contention with a victory in this one.

Neil Magny comes into this fight with a record of 27-10 in 37 career professional fights. He has plenty of experience as he steps into the octagon professionally for the 38th time in his long and lengthy career. He also has a significant height advantage in this one, as he is 5 inches taller than his opponent. He also has a 9 inch reach advantage as well and despite being the underwhelming Underdog coming into this one I think he will pull out the win by knockout over Gilbert Burns.

SportsTips’ UFC Pick:

Magny ML (+380)
