It took until the quarterfinals for him to face a seeded player, but in the quarters, he dispatched 16th seed, Auger Aliassime, in four sets.
If Berrettini can win this game and make it to the final, it will be his first even finals appearance at a Grand Slam. He has been on fire lately, especially on the grass courts. He made it all the way to the quarterfinals at the French Open, losing to eventual winner Djokovic. Then, his grass court prep was on point, when he won the Queen’s Club Championships.

On the other side of the net will be 14th seed Hurkacz, who will think is the giant killer, taking out the 2nd seed, Medvedev, in the Round of 16, as well as the 6th seed, Federer, in the quarters. Not to mention he beat Federer in straight sets! This win had got to be hands down one of the beat in his career, it was the first time he had played in a Grand Slam quarterfinal, but he played like it was his 100th.
The pair have met each other once before, with Hurkacz leading that tally 1-0, they met in 2019 in the first round of the Miami Masters. Both players will have ample confidence coming into this match, but also with a bit of nerves because they are just one win away from their maiden Grand Slam final. Berrettini’s natural style of play is offensive, so he will need to stick to his game plan. On the other hand, Hurkacz is strong when it come to defence, so this couldn’t be a more perfect matchup. We like the look of this match going the distance!

The world number one, Novak Djokovic, is just one step away from yet another Grand Slam final, and standing in his was is Canadian Denis Shapovalov. No one has really challenged Djokovic in his first five clashes, only dropping one set, in his first round match. Since then the world number one has put in clinical performance after clinical performance.
Djokovic will be looking for a record equalling 20th Grand Slam title here at Wimbledon. If you are looking for a player who loves playing at Wimbledon, look no further than Djokovic who is currently on a 19 match winning streak at this tournament! There is no doubt that Djokovic is the clear favourite to win this match, along with the entire tournament.

Not many people would have expected Shapovalov to make it all the way to the semi finals at Wimbledon. But he has got to be feeling it now, just coming off a gruelling five set match in the quarters. Shapovalov has in fact only played four matches, as his second round opponent retired from the match before a ball was struck.
The pair have played each other a few times before, with Djokovic completely dominant, leading the head-to-head 6-0, and in those six matches, the Serb has only dropped two sets! This is certainly going to be a tough ask for Shapovalov, to even get his foot in the door of this match. Djokovic’s serve and return is almost perfection, and we think he will be too good for the Canadian.
