Italy vs Spain
Tuesday, July 6th, 3.00 PM EDT
Two tournament powerhouses go toe to toe at Wembley Stadium today when Roberto Mancini’s Italy meet Luis Enrique’s Spain.
The Azzurri have had a flawless run in the competition up until this point. After cruising through the group stages without so much as conceding a goal they met Austria in the the Round of 16, and after a goalless 90 minutes they came up triumphant in extra time 2-1.
They progressed to the Quarter Finals where they faced their greatest challenge yet, Belgium. The Red Devils were a tournament favourite, but first half goals from Nicolo Barella and Lorenzo Insigne gave the finely tuned Italian outfit a strong lead, and despite conceding a penalty just moments later they were able to hold onto their lead.

Spain’s journey to the Semi Final has not been as smooth, finishing the group stage with 4 points to their name they then drew Croatia in the Round of 16, where they put on one of the games of the tournament.
Comfortably leading 3-1 with just 5 minutes to play they lapsed defensively, conceding back to back goals to send the game to overtime. Fortunately, Alvaro Morata was clinical in front of goal, burying his second of the tournament to pull Spain ahead and guide them to an emphatic 5-3 win.
The same problems that plagued them in the Quarters came back to haunt them in their Semi Final draw against Switzerland, with Spain claiming a 1-0 lead early before conceding late to send the match to overtime.
After Sergio Busquets missed the first kick of the shootout their prospects didn’t look good, but they came up clutch and pulled through with the deserved win against the resilient Switzerland.
The two sides have plenty of history against one another, sporting a head to head record that is very evenly split, with Spain edging them out with 13 wins to 12. However, this Italy side is a different beast, they are currently the only team to win all of their Euro games, and have shown how solid they are across the pitch.
We have seen how leaky the Spaniards can be defensively and this Italian lineup is undoubtedly their biggest test yet, we think it will prove too much for them with goals at either end.
England vs Denmark
Wednesday, July 7th, 3.00 PM EDT
Wednesday sees England face the tournament underdogs, Denmark, in one of the most exciting football fixtures of recent times. Gareth Southgate’s England side have had one of the more impressive runs to get to this point, so far yet to concede a goal, the worries about their backline have now been completely quashed.

After the terrifying on field collapse of their talisman Christian Eriksen in game 1, the Danes have been nothing short of inspiring in their underdog run to the Semis. With 10 goals scored over the last 3 games they are getting the results that their style of play commands.
The Danes will need to continue to be clinical if they are to break down the Harry Maguire and John Stones partnership and get the better of the so far flawless Jordan Pickford.
They have had a spectacular run to get to this point, but with the form that Harry Kane is hitting they will be tested at the back and we just can’t see them creating enough offense to beat England more than once.
