It all comes down to this as the UEFA Champions League Final is finally here. As Real Madrid from Spain and La Liga will take on Liverpool from the English Premier League and England.

Both of these teams have had fantastic seasons up until this point as Real Madrid won La Liga and Liverpool finished as runners up to Manchester City in the English Premier League. Despite falling short of winning the league they have won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup as well and now they will be looking to win their third trophy to cap off the 2021-22 season.
Real Madrid is the greatest team in the history of this competition as they will now be looking to add another trophy to their already historic resume. They have already won 13 UEFA Champions League trophies including winning the first five editions of this legendary tournament. Their last one came back in 2017-18 over this same Liverpool squad to cap off a run of three titles in four years. Overall they are 14-3 in seventeen finals appearances.
Liverpool is also a former UEFA Champions League winner as they last won the greatest trophy in the world of club football back in 2018-19 where they defeated fellow English football club Tottenham Hotspur, or more commonly known as Spurs, or simply Tottenham. This will be Liverpool’s ninth appearance all time at a final as they are 6-2 all time. It will also be the third time these two teams have met in the finals of the UEFA Champions League, as they’ve previously faced off in 1980-81 and 2017-18. As for the result of the grudge match I am going with Liverpool to get the win and avenge their loss from 2018.
