Two of the league’s top offenses are set to square off at Climate Pledge Arena on Monday, as the Tampa Bay Lightning (27-13-1) head to take on the Seattle Kraken (26-12-4). Tampa Bay is coming off a 4-2 win over the Blues on Saturday, their third consecutive win.
The Lightning took advantage of their limited power play opportunities, scoring once on two shots while holding St. Louis without a power play goal. Brayden Point was the top goalscorer for the Lightning with two goals. Andrei Vasilevskiy saved 23 of 25 shots in the win.
Seattle won their eighth straight game, beating the Blackhawks 8-5 on Saturday. Jared McCann was the leading goal scorer for the Kraken, netting a hat trick. Martin Jones surrendered five goals on 27 shots (.814%).

The Lightning won the first meeting between the teams this season, a 6-2 victory in December, their third straight win against Seattle. Nikita Kucherov led Tampa Bay with three points (0G 3A). Beniers has 17 goals and 19 assists in 42 games, while Burakovsky has 12 goals and 24 assists in 42 games. Jordan Eberle has 10 goals and 25 assists. Jones (20-5-3) has the best goals against average for Seattle at 2.68. He has a save percentage of .898%.
