The Philadelphia Flyers (24-32-11) will be out to halt their losing run when they play host to the Buffalo Sabres (33-28-6) at Wells Fargo Center on Friday. Buffalo is coming off a high-scoring 5-4 shootout loss against the Capitals on Wednesday.
The Sabres conceded two power play goals while failing to take advantage of their own limited power play opportunities. Four players found the net for the Sabres. Peyton Krebs had two assists to lead the team in scoring.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen only had 35 saves on 39 shots against (.897%) in the loss. Philadelphia lost for the fourth game in a row, falling 5-3 to the Golden Knights on Tuesday.
Travis Sanheim, Morgan Frost, and Nick Seeler scored one apiece for the Flyers. Felix Sandstrom only had 28 saves on 32 shots against (.875%) in the loss.

The Flyers won the first meeting between the teams this season, a 4-0 victory in January. Joel Farabee (1G 1A) and Travis Konecny (0G 2A) each had two points to lead Philadelphia. Samuel Ersson saved 28 shots to earn the shutout win.
