Two of the NHL’s highest volume shooting teams are set to face off at Prudential Center on Tuesday, as the New Jersey Devils (48-21-8) host the Pittsburgh Penguins (38-29-10).
Pittsburgh is coming off a 4-2 win over the Flyers on Sunday. The Penguins committed eight penalties in the game, though they held Philadelphia without a power play goal.
Rickard Rakell led the Penguins with two goals. Casey DeSmith had a great performance with 31 saves (.939%) in the win. New Jersey fell 6-1 to the Jets on Sunday. Nico Hischier was the only player to score for the Devils. Vitek Vanecek started in the loss and saved only 17 of 21 shots (.809%).
