The Canucks committed only two penalties in the game, yet still conceded a power play goal. Elias Pettersson and Cole McWard both scored once for the Canucks. Thatcher Demko had a great performance with 41 saves (.953%) in the win.
Los Angeles lost for the third game in a row, falling 4-3 to the Avalanche on Saturday. Adrian Kempe scored twice to lead the Kings. Pheonix Copley saved only 19 of 23 shots against (.826%) in the loss.
