Our NHL picks have the best free predictions for all seven of tonight’s games!

This includes the rematch on Monday night’s clash between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Those two teams are second and third in the Central Division respectively, and Carolina could jump to first if the Florida Panthers, who host the Dallas Stars, lose tonight.

We let you know the winners of these division altering clashes as well as all other five in our free NHL picks below.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Tampa Bay Lightning – 5:00 PM ET

Carolina lost to Tampa Bay on Monday, 4-2. That ended their five-game homestand at 3-1-1. The Hurricanes are now 12-4-1 with a +17 goal differential. They are 6-3-0 on the road this year. James Reimer allowed three goals on 31 shots. He has started eight games with a 3.08 GAA and a .896 save percentage. Jesper Fast had two goals-against Tampa Bay, his first two goals of the season.

With the victory over Carolina, Tampa Bay is now 11-4-1 with a +20 goal differential, best in the NHL. The Lightning are 6-1-0 at home. Steven Stamkos and Victor Hedman each had a goal and an assist in the victory, tying them with Brayden Point for the team lead in points with 17. Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 34 of 36 shots and now has a 2.01 GAA and a .931 save percentage in 14 starts.

Dallas Stars @ Florida Panthers – 5:00 PM ET

Dallas loss to Florida on Monday, 3-1. The Stars are 5-4-4 and have struggled on the road, posting a 1-3-1 record. They are 2-4-4 over their last 10 games. Anton Khudobin played well against the Panthers, stopping 49 of 51 shots. He now has a 2.66 GAA and a .915 save percentage in seven starts. Joe Pavelski leads the team in points with 17.

Florida is now 12-3-2, tops in the Central Division. They have a +11 goal differential and are 6-2-1 at home. Chris Driedger stopped 24 of 25 shots in the victory. Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to be in net for the Panthers on Wednesday. Bobrovsky has a 3.18 GAA and a .889 save percentage in eight starts. Jonathan Huberdeau had an assist in the victory, giving him a team-leading 23 points.

New York Rangers @ Philadelphia Flyers – 7:00 PM ET

New York beat Washington on Saturday for their second straight victory. The Rangers are 6-7-3 and are 3-2-1 on the road. Igor Shesterkin stopped 26 of 27 shots in the victory over the Capitals. He will be back in goal on Wednesday and has a 2.23 GAA. Artermi Panarin added two assists to give him 18 total points, but he will be out for this contest after domestic assault allegations were levied.

Philadelphia lost to Boston on Sunday, 7-3. The Flyers are now 8-4-3. They are 5-2-2 at home this season. Carter Hart is expected to start for Philadelphia. Hart was lit up against Boston, allowing six goals on 23 shots before being lifted from the game. Hart has a 3.68 GAA and a .891 save percentage in 11 starts. Philadelphia is led in scoring by James van Riemsdyk with eight goals, 13 assists, and 21 points.

Calgary Flames @ Toronto Maple Leafs – 7:00 PM ET

Calgary shutout Toronto on Monday, 3-0. David Rittich got a rare start and was outstanding, stopping all 34 shots he faced. Matthew Tkachuk and Sean Monahan each had a goal and an assist in the victory. The Flames are now 9-9-1 and are 5-5-1 on the road this season. After a rare night off, Jacob Markstrom returns to the net. He has started 15 games with a 2.87 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Monahan now has 14 points, third on the team, with Tkachuk right behind at 13.

Toronto dropped to 14-4-2 with a +18 goal differential, second best in the NHL. Frederik Andersen received a rare night off as well, and will be back between the pipes for this contest. He has started 16 of the team’s 20 games with a 2.69 GAA and a .905 save percentage. Mitchell Marner leads the team with 30 points and Auston Matthews leads the NHL in goals with 18.

Minnesota Wild @ Colorado Avalanche – 9:00 PM ET

Minnesota defeated San Jose on Monday, 6-2. Mats Zuccarello scored a goal and added three assists in the victory. Minnesota is now 9-6-0 with a +6 goal differential. They have won three games in a row. Minnesota is 6-3-0 on the road. After sitting out the last three games, Cam Talbot returns and will be in net for Minnesota on Wednesday. Talbot has started six games with a 2.40 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

Colorado was shut out by Vegas on Monday, 3-0. That dropped the Avalanche to 9-5-1 with a +12 goal differential. The Avalanche are 5-2-0 at home.  Philipp Grubauer allowed three goals against Vegas, the most allowed by the Avalanche netminder in his last seven starts. Grubauer has started 13 games and has a 1.78 GAA and a .932 save percentage. Nathan MacKinnon leads the team with 18 points.

Anaheim Ducks @ Arizona Coyotes – 9:00 PM ET

Arizona defeated Anaheim on Monday, 4-3. That was the fourth straight loss for the Ducks dropping Anaheim 26-10-3 with a -17 goal differential. Anaheim had a 3-0 lead in this game, but could not hold it. John Gibson allowed four goals on 25 shots and has now allowed three goals or more in four straight starts. Gibson still has a 2.67 GAA and a .908 save percentage but he may be wearing down. The Ducks are last in the NHL in goals scored at 1.89 per contest.

With the victory over Anaheim the Coyotes are now 8-7-3. They also evened their record at 2-2-2 during the first six contests of this nine-game homestand. Christian Dvorak had two goals in the victory. He now leads Arizona with nine goals and is second with 15 points. Darcy Kuemper stopped at 25 of 28 shots in the win. He has started 15 games with a 2.33 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

Los Angeles Kings @ St. Louis Blues – 9:30 PM ET

Los Angeles defeated St. Louis on Monday, 3-0 for their fifth straight victory. Jonathan Quick was outstanding, stopping all 31 shots he faced. After a very shaky start to the season, Quick has been outstanding of late, allowing two total goals in his last three starts with two shutouts. He now has a 2.82 GAA and a .903 save percentage and nine games. Dustin Brown had two goals in the victory giving him a team-leading 10 overall. Los Angeles is now 8-6-3, tied for third in the West.

Despite losing 0-3, the Blues enter this one as favorites. They are still second in the West Division with a 10-7-2 record and 22 points. St. Louis uses an even approach as four different players have at least 16 points, led by David Perron’s 19.

With that being said, LA is the most inform team in the comp right now and we don’t see why they can’t get a second straight win over the Blues.
