The Maple Leafs head to Winnipeg for the closing game of the season, and with the final standings already decided, the result is meaningless.
The Leafs left Toronto with 2 straight wins under their belt following a convincing 2 game sweep over the Canadiens, they came up against the surprisingly in form Senators and were stunned for a fourth time this season, losing 4-3 in overtime.
Auston Matthews picked up his token, NHL leading 41st goal in the defeat, and Jake Muzzin added 2 points to his total with a goal and assist, but it took just 9 seconds of overtime for Josh Norris to put the game to bed.

The Jets come into this one well rested, and with a well needed win under their belt after their 5-0 win over the Canucks on Tuesday.
With just 2 wins from their last 10 games, the Jets crossed the finish line in an average way, however, Kyle Connor picked up points for a second straight game, and Blake Wheeler put on a 4 point performance, the kind of form they need to be hitting with playoffs around the corner.
It is unknown how the two teams will set up for the final game, but given the form of either side it is hard to imagine any scenario that doesn’t end in the Maple Leafs taking the points.
